The guy who genuinely had fun creating for Mugen without getting pulled into dramas and whatnot, a dying breed (extinct?).
That was a pleasant read, dunno what else to say.

How do you pull something like that off?
And I agree it was a very pleasant read and very surprisingly honest and open.

He is some levels above you, it´s that simple.

Many times i feel impotence of not being able to have the proper motivation to create a char, only just one char ( i thought on creating a Gouken but i hate programming and spriting so .... ). Because i would like to create it for the pleasure of totally sharing it freely with the people, that it is what is really important, no other thing: creators will not use my template, non creators, maybe: i don´t really care.

Heh, yeah…I guess that last post was pretty long. Thanks everyone for reading, and for all the kind words and encouragement. It really means a lot.   :)

Because of my absence these last few months, regrettably, I’m completely ignorant of the apparent drama that’s been going on. I’d rather not stir the pot and bring these things back to the surface if I can help it…so I hope that my last post didn’t serve as a reminder of what must have been a pretty dark time in the community. I hope things are better now, and that everyone can look past any arguments or insults that may have occurred. Again, I have no idea what has transpired, so I can’t really speak for other’s feelings. I just hope that everyone can forgive and forget.

B. Marquis, thanks so much for sharing your story. It makes me happy to know that I could inspire others with their projects, just as they have inspired me. I’m thankful that others could be there for you as well through such hard times during your life. I am so sorry about your losses of family and your friend. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to you and your family.

You mentioned that you have done bad things to yourself and others in the past. I think it shows great maturity to even realize and admit such a thing. Everyone does things that that they are not proud of. Believe me…I have my fair share of embarrassing deeds. It’s so good to know that you have friends that will always be there for you no matter what has happened in the past. I know I’m not here very often, but you and everyone else in the community will always have a friend in me.

(Heh…channeled a little Randy Newman there. Sorry about that.)

Just No Point (or Keith if you prefer)…thanks so much for the invitation to www.drunkduck.com! I haven’t had time to fully check it out just yet, but your comic looks very cool. Keep up the great work, man!

Our comic book we’re just starting was originally going to be a Zuda Comics entry, titled BeanTown. Ryan has since shown interest in pitching it to Image Comics instead, due to their claims of total protection for creator’s rights. However, with the exception being the excellent book The Walking Dead, most of Image’s comics all take place within the same universe. That just wouldn’t work for our comic book…so, who knows where BeanTown will end up?

Oh, before I forget…I’d like to retract a request I made many years ago regarding my spritework. I used to feel very protective of my art, mostly due to this one annoying guy way back in middle school who would try to pass off my art as his own. Anyway, as long as I’m given credit for my original spritework, anyone that would like to can use my Mugen sprites for their own projects. I’m completely fine with it now…so long as it’s not anything that may be considered disrespectful or pornographic in any way. (Honestly, I’m not sure how or why that would happen anyway.) But, yeah…if someone wants to use my sprites to create an “Evil Mario”, or “Disco Luigi”, or a “Not-so-Omega Tom Hanks”…be my guest. It’s not like I created the character of Mario anyway, right?  :)

Alright. Thanks again for everything, everyone. I’ll try to keep in touch as often as possible. God bless all of you.

That's actually the farthest I've ever seen someone go to make a South Park reference.
