... Well, maybe. Amidweiz has his going, currently, so I'm not sure how much attention I can attract for another tournament, but it's been nearly a year since my last tournament, and I've been getting that itch again. If this dies out and fades away into obscurity, so be it, but I'd like to at least give it a shot.

Summary for the uninitiated:
16 teams of 4 AI-controlled characters are set to fight in a ladder format, best two out of three.

Settings:
MUGEN 1.0
8 Difficulty
100% Life
80 second timer (might bump this up to 99 if requested, but I feel that it's enough to allow for fights to finish without letting things drag for too long)
DrKelexo's Alien Soldier screenpack because it's awesome and not gaudy.

Rules/Whatnot:
- No overpowered characters, naturally. The definition of this is of course dependent on the person, but I think I can reasonably come to a conclusion on what's too strong.
- No characters that generally befuddle the average AI, such as those that are too small or have constant super armor.
- Ideally, your characters should have reasonable AI.
- Please link to characters (and AI patches, if you deem them necessary).
- Also, provide a team name, specific palettes if desired, and the order in which you want your team to take, as well as any specific grooves/modes they may come with, otherwise they will be random.
- You may change team members and team names up until the last participant submits their team.

Assuming 16 people are interested, the entire tournament will be uploaded as one video (probably, just to avoid clutter) to my Youtube channel (which will be linked when (if) it's all done; no need to advertise my rubbish beforehand) with only the minimum required editing. I promise no "wacky" effects, commentary, or fanfictiony plot garbage.

I wouldn't consider Ikaruga's characters overpowered, though I'm unfamiliar with soy sauce, so I wouldn't be able to make an immediate decision.

Pretty sure Hugo would take any character out. He's just a beast. I'm not sure if I've edited any of these characters in any shape or form. I don't believe I've done any. But I'll package them up >>> Here  <<<
These guys are my pre-last guys guys. My level 8 people. I figure level 9s are over powered and my 10s are Bosses/things like Biohazard and Onslaught.

The order should be

E Honda
Hugo
Hugo should be All Super Arts.

Does Sagat M206 still get like 16 ultra levels? It's been a long while since I've updated him.

i found the only decent greninja and he has good ai i hope that helps for you

info: greninja has mvc style with a low health super that's currently in beta 2, heidern is a PotS and Infinite style, guy has mvc gameplay but with street fighter v's v-trigger, and charlie is PotS style

edit: is it possible for you to add victory quotes for characters since some of them don't have it in one of their cns files where the movement code is?

Reaction images aside that's one horribly unfair team you've created. Goten, vegeta, and great sayiaman all heal and gain superarmor. Krillin does some the most awful teleport I've seen on a mugen charatcer (which is funny considering he does his normal teleport sometimes, juxtaposing your dumb teleport.) And all of them except krillin escape all grabs.  :mwhy:

So I'm just gonna throw this out there. I think the final two teams should have a best 2 out of 3, out of 2 types...
Get the 4vs4 exe and run them all at the same time!!
If it's a tie, I think the team with the most round wins should take it. :P
I kinda just want to see 8 monsters fighting it out lol

Maybe for fun at the end, but as far as the actual tournament goes, I'm going to keep it structured the same in 1v1 fights.

How about a round robin tourney? That way every team gets a bunch of matches, just have an extra point for a 2-0 victory and tiebreakers decided with the head-to-head results. Then have the top 2 go to finals.

About fucking time, right? I'm extremely sorry it took as long as it did. A lot of IRL shit hit me all at once, which gave me little time and drive to actually put it together, but it's finally finished. I never intended to give up on it.

A few palettes are funky because I needed to re-record a lot of matches (while keeping original winners in mind, mind you) because my vidya capture kept giving me footage that stuttered frequently, and I didn't want to go back and re-record footage that was otherwise fine.

Yay too... someone I don't know. TBH I designed my team with reala's team in mind. (I typically design AI teams with to counter the best team present, for the most part it works but not here unfortunately) Well they'res always next time, Let's just say I'm bringing back some filthy 09ers for my next team.   :devilish:

Yay too... someone I don't know. TBH I designed my team with reala's team in mind. (I typically design AI teams with to counter the best team present, for the most part it works but not here unfortunately) Well they'res always next time, Let's just say I'm bringing back some filthy 09ers for my next team.   :devilish:
