Inside the hitdef, no. But you can use PotS' hitspark system, or you can use FF3/FFS to resize the images. You could also use irfanview to batch resize them.
I'd recommend using explod as a hitspark.movehit/moveguard/movecontactare all great ways to utilize hit sparks as explods, if you wanna change sizes and stuff.
