On the plus side, with something like this I think I might be able to come up with a way to edit out background music, and injury grunts out of throws.

Thanks for the Japanese Guile sounds. Edit: I think there is something wrong with the Japanese Guile sounds. Because when I added/swapped them with Mugen Character Maker with another soundpack and tested the sounds there, the sounds I added/swapped won't play. Next, I saved it as a new soundpack and then I played M.U.G.E.N. But when I played the character which I used those sounds for, the game got a error and then it closed. I even tried using Fighter Factory to do it but I still got the same result. Here is a screenshot of the error, it says that it can't find the soundpack:I know the new soundpack is in the character's file and the name is exactly guile.snd. So I don't know what going on with it, but if you can help me, that would be helpful.

You aren't the first person to suggest that. Truth be told I didn't have the means to encode an MP3 before. Now I do, so starting after Rose (I'm already halfway through ripping her), there won't be any problems. At some stage I'll go back and look at repeating the packs I've already done.

And both his Super and Ultra are combinations of two things; hit-to-complete so I can't just rip it with auto-block, and rapid hits which make the job of filtering them out about nine times more of an exercise in frustration than normal. It'll still get done, but it'll be a bit slower than the last two.

Alright I just got done ripping every sound there is (probably) so am gonna do two things...- Help out with the requests by fulfilling the above:English DanEnglish Fei LongEnglish Gen- Post how to do it with the PC version (thanks to Master Bigode for pointing out the key program), in case that wasn't done already:1) The sound files are inside the game's Battle folder and with .csb extensions, so copy those to a folder that's easier to work with (I used c:\sf4snd)2) Download this and extract it to the above folder3) Use csb_extract.exe in the command line, with simply "csb_extract *.csb"4) The resulting files will be .aax, which can be open with PSound to convert to .wav
I had no idea PSound could extract these. I'll do the ones no one asked for.Edit:It was too easy. In the same time it took me to do one sound set with the other program, I was abel to do all 50 of them using PSound. I mean yest the .aax files I provided were ripped directly from the 360 iso months ago (Thank you BiggestSonicFan at Sonic Retro btw), but neither of us knew of the possibility beforehand. I only meant to say "Wow this could have been easier back then, but oh well it's done now." You didn't cock anything up.
One other thing, the link on page 1 to Japanese Sakura takes you to Japanese Ryu instead. Please fix. Thanks in advance.
the voice volume for gouken was very low.i installed everything but im not sure why it came out like that.

This is freaking awesome-thanks!But I have one request in Akuma's english pack-I'd love a rip of the lines he says to Ryu when you defeat him with the Shun Goku Satsu during the rival fight. One of them is, "You have a LONG way to go!" and my favorite is, "A NORMAL HUMAN AFTER ALL!!"

I just tried several that were not on your "worked" list and they did download for me in full.. Hmph... I may have to find a second host.
That's odd, because whenver I tried any of them (aside from the ones on my worked list) I got a 404 Error. Aside from English Ryu, he just gives me an invalid file error.

Yo Chosis! thanks so much for ur soundclips - you did a great job and the clips rock..I hv a small question though - regarding the Eng Ken clips, i noticed the clips are labelled synth_ken_01e_wav_0000 and etc...in the pack that i downloaded, i do not hv ken 02 to 05, 21 - 27, 34, 36, 38, 41, 53 and 68... was wondering where they went to, or is it normal to now hv these files? would really love to know; just making sure i dont miss out on any cool sounds.thanks a lot again! cheers! Possibly. The sounds were actually ripped from the xbox360 version of the game. If I can find an .iso of SSF4 I will do it.
