Name that spot you take your special someone somewhere.  If you don't have anyone, just name a place you like to go for dinner.

For me:

Ponderosa
China Kitchen
Apple Bees

Anywhere that can give a decent and tasty looking dish would be enough.

Is finding MUGEN to be more enjoyable to play when you're not wearing clothes an underrated opinion?

My desk.

I say this when I'm at work during my obscure 10 hour, 4 day work week. When I'm out and about, I'm all about flavor profiles and healthy obscurity. Like....

Miya's Sushi in downtown New Haven. Seriously, check out their menu!!

Blue State Coffee, another staple of New Haven. Blue State and Miya's share the same ideal of sustainability. Eat yer heart out Starbucks!!

116 Crown Street, also in New Haven. Fucking amazing place!! This NY Times Article has great things to say about them too (Their main site is boring). The bar is made entirely of Onyx, illuminates the entire restaurant, and has to be kept at a certain temperature or it'll crack!!

Lastly, I love diners as well, and Pop's Family Diner right down the road from me in Milford is awesome. Ironically, it's right across the street from my Gym, so I get a guilt trip going when I'm eating Bacon and looking out the window. LOL
All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.

Hmmmm... I don't usually go out much these days, but when I do:

Shokudo: Since we have a lot of Japanese tourists (and residents), there is no shortage of Japanese restaurants. However, Shokudo stands out by having excellent food and mixed drinks at reasonable prices. They also recently added a good sushi bar! Last but not least, and the main reason it's a great dessert spot, it's one od the few restaurants on the island that makes Honey Toast (it looks and tastes WAY better than the name suggests), which you'd generally share with your significant other.

Jimmy Buffett's at the Beach Comber: A bit pricey and more touristy, but a pair of popular radio DJ's used to do shows here. The food's pretty awesome, and my personal favorite are the nachos (the dish is HUGE). The drinks are also pretty good, especially the (surprise surprise) margaritas. There's also live entertainment every night, and the mainstays are really good, so I drop in every now and then, if only for the music.

Will post more when I'm at home.

Fox's Pizza. Kinda pricey, but it's pretty much the best place to get a pizza down here (unless you're desperate to go to Domino's or Pizza Hut....OR going outside the city for the closest Papa Johns around).

I never go out to places.
Applebee's I guess... the few times I went there it was good (but I have very simplistic taste in food).

I'm just happy to have time to eat, usually it's a sandwich in my car.  There are no real restaurants around here, the nearest is probably a 45 minute drive 1 way, unless you count the hot dog roller grill at the gas station.

When I'm out and about, I like going to these places.

St. James' Well: Great place to have a beer and a big plate of good ol' pub food. A bit noisy, but it is an Irish Pub after all.

Las Margaritas: Best Mexican food in Vancouver, hands down.

Browns Socialhouse: Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced food, and good drinks.

Me-n-Eds Pizza: My favourite pizza place, totally worth the price.

I might post some more later.

I got some favourite places I go when I'm hungry:
-Dominó (don't confuse with Domino's Pizza), a great place for big hotdogs and sandwiches (and all with homemade mayonaisse), I don't go so usually, but when I go, I eat a lot with my girlfriend
-Juan Maestro, another of my favourite places, also with big sandwiches and homemade mayonaisse, but with cheaper prizes. Also, there's the "batido", an ice cream/milkshake like that it's so delicious
-Sometimes I go to Burger King, the only fast food restaurant I actually like, and ask about big combos, especially Big Rodeo one (with onion rings and BBQ sauce), my favourite for far :P
-For pizza places, I like Pizza Pizza, and in last time Papa John's
-And also, there's a little spot close to my home where I can eat "as" (hotdog with minced meat instead of sausage) with a soda :P

Rest in peace, Toriyama-san...
