ConFiG: how to change Stage in FF3 ?

Hi i notice in youtube tutorial videos, when the developer runs Mugen from FF3 to test their char development, the stage is not the default blue squares.

I went into mugen (1.1b) folders and rename the default.def (name of stage file) then use another stage file with name of default.def but FF3 still calls the stage with Blue squares... am i missing something?

Go into the data folder and look for mugen.cfg, open it
and look for the section called debug.

You'll see a line called StartStage = stages/stage0-720.def

That's where you change the stage and it will load your stage
when testing in FF
