The Evil Ryu sprite is definitely getting better, although the headband does seem a bit misaligned, but that is my opinion. Nice work overall.
Hows This?Jesuszilla said, June 04, 2011, 08:48:08 pmI preferred the old hair and face, honestly.Do you plan on making an entire set?Yeah I plan on to after i color separate CvS's Jin.
If anyone wants to take a crack at the face, be my guest.Since there is now Marvel themed topic:Excuse the he lazy recycled palettes. I only did them as a proof of concept.
Jesuszilla said, June 05, 2011, 02:28:29 amooooookay that separation for Jin is ridiculous. That's why it will never ever happen. I just wondered since Jun had a biker look like K' how would he look with K's XIII color separation. I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
This palette is totally worthly the separation effort. Damn I wish I were more into CVS or MVC color separation, but my game uses KOF sprites and they are harder to separate for certain characters. I hate myself
I had to leave so I didn't have time to post everything I wanted.Color Separation + a few unnoticeable changes and a Tatsunoko lookin' pal sorta inspired by Gallantmon.A few step leading up to the final sprite. At one point I wanted to do something similar to the last step to the original Marvel sprite as in editing out the outlines separating the colors in her bodysuit, but the time it would take seems too great so I'm not going to bother.@Navi: Thanks. I was going for Jann Lee's outfit from DoA4. It's pretty much the most badass fighting outfit I've ever seen and was my main drive in finishing the separation.
When it's just a single sprite why not go all the way (sugoi)I don't know what all has changed with that Ken sprite besides the jaw line, but it looks good to me.
The hair is also different. It's not that different though, and I wouldn't turn it into in actual project unlike Ryu, who looks different enough. And that Jin is past the point of which I would make palettes. That color separation is WAY too much, even for me.
Other then the face on Rogue, (Which may need a bit of tweaking, but I don't have a problem with) the overall effort and design is very good. I think it is solid over all. Nice work.
Ahh, my life is complete.I've spent more time on the favce than any other part, but I've no idea how to fix it. It may just be a palette problem since I noticed that the face on the red pal looks much better than the original. IDK.
I stole the legs from King. I don't think I followed CvS style totally, as I was just messing around, so criticize, please.
