Is not spectacular, but I really like it because:

-The sense of speed is great
-Has good challenges (trophy support)
-Beautiful graphics
-Supports custom BGM (listening to Bloc Party's Flux or Hunting for Witches is da rox)
-Online play is very fluid
and all that stuf, but...

Some time ago I read rumours of WipEout HD being delayed because the game failed epilepsy tests. "Funny fact" I thought then.

I downloaded the game yesterday, played about 1 hour and I woke up today with a serious migrain attack. In my case migrain involves vision distortion, strong headaches on one side of the brain and nausea. I was absent to work.

I must admit, I'm a little afraid of touching the thing again... I'm not really sure the game is the cause of my migrain, but I don't want to get through such a seizure again :(

Its fun! Nothing amazing, but it doesn't disappoint. It is indeed Wipeout in HD, and it looks gorgeous. Me and my brother were playing it with the Wipeout XL soundtrack playing.  ;D

Might as well be motion sickness due playing fast paced games with bright colors (Hence why most FPS use dark colors)

I played the game again today and no migrain. God thanks :D
@Zantetsu: Even if I suffered from simulation sickness in the past (after playing ultimate Doom on PSX, hahaha) migrain is totally different; the nausea only happens when the headache is very strong.
