It was in front of me all along.For a good while, I've been experimenting to find a way to make a frame outta Anime Studio (currently used the V5) and then trace it all over to make the sprite).Before I use Anime Studio, I first make the frames - 360 views of the characters with SAI and save each piece and give them the transparency for the Studio.I then put them all together, make the Bones, and make the poses. And lastt but not least... trace!Here's the result for what I got here with two characters:Cartoon Guy, in another redesign. Lookin' a lot meaner than before.And my character Mona-Lisa, an 1940-esque styled actress who suffers from a split personality: Poor defenseless Mona and slaughtering slaughterer Lisa.I then use Anime Studio's render and the PC's PrintScreen function to save the sprite. And there! Sprite done!And with Anime Studio's Bones function, I can do something like this:Pardon how messy the lovely legs are.I'm wondering who I shall start with, tho. Hm... which one...
I was thinking on doing BOTH. Also, because I already made more animations on Mona-Lisa. I might preview them if anyone wants to.Here's an updated sprite of CG. With better hands.
Neato! Hm... I wonder what new animations I can make for these two...Cartoon Guy is, well, cartoony. One of my ideas is that he can change his body parts ala Battletoads.Mona-Lisa, besides being a rubberhose toon, she has the ability to manipulate ink and can enhance it with her brush. Said ink can be as shark as a blade. Hm...
Oh yes! And I noticed in his moveset that one of his names is Rocket Punch... sooooo... his hand becomes a rocket robot fist.
Yeah. I was using KFM's fall as reference for the angle. Perhaps I'll look for more to remodify their falls.But FIRST. I'm gonna start with the stand animation. I have given Mona-Lisa a new look!The cut long skirt was because Lisa slashed it open for better mobility, but I didn't like how she came out with it. So... I decided to change it. And ended up redesigning her look.
I'm afraid I'll have to put the phantom on hold.Switched the colors to make it easier for the color switch thing.
Well! I'm gonna redesign these two slightly soon!What suggestions anyone has for the two's looks?Cartoon Guy's pants needs more details, and Mona-Lisa needs to look more of a flapper.I need references for the flapper!
