People are getting the game now, impressions showing up on Twitter.

  • Bound is gone.
  • Some new animations for chars including back walk animations.
  • There are invincible moves

Apparently the game uses an in-game currency.  Fight enough battles, and you can grind enough coins to buy characters/costumes without using real money.  Glad to see this F2P tradition carrying over.

Sorry but..how do they make money that way than? (i have no experience with any f2p games yet)

Because people are impatient and will buy characters anyway.  Knowing F2P games, grinding the currency will take prohibitively long.

- Characters will become temporarily free on a rotating basis, apparently like LoL.

It most likely releases tonight at 12 AM for N. America. I keep going on the PSN and I still don't see it up on Free-to-Play or PSN Games.

the only reason to get this is caz its free, I mean really ? an upgrade system ? what is this?  dissidia  with Tekken characters ?

LOL Upgrade? Its definitely not an upgrade. At least I wouldn't call it an upgrade. It's a new system of leveling up.(From what I've heard) I wouldn't compare it to Dissidia since the systems are different.

It'll come in the PSN store when it's updated, and PSN store updates pretty late(Around 6-7ish)

By that logic Pokemon is like Dissidia. MGS:PW leveling up your workers was like Dissidia, right?

Tons of games have implemented leveling up. I'm not saying that calling it an upgrade is not debatable, but the comparison you made was not very good.
