Well, we can stop "bashing" (it's not real bashing, but yeah, it looks like it) LTD, as he has acted correctly by removing the links for the time being.

Now, since he has some free time to fix his old stages, while waiting to find new sprites, he may want to fix the hadouken bug and the colorloss.

While the guild in no way enforces steal or whatever, what hank says its quite true, hard to get better without working on your own stuff

No one would ban anyone for "stealing" sprites. but its way more polite to ask people for permissions and to recognize the effort of the work of others you end up using.

Next up, the stages that were taken off of CVG due to an unfortunate encounter.
I simply removed the fog from the Lexcorp/Hellfire stages and made my own for the others.

LTD's Tunnel Vision : (if Volzilla can relay this to LTD)
- Finally, there's no scaling. :) Also, the lifebars being hidden are more the lifebars fault than the stage's one.
- This stage would greatly benefit from getting the BlackJack trick on the foreground elements.
- Then, this would make it okay to set the p1startx and p2startx parameters to +/-70 instead of the clumsy values that are used for now.
- Once all this is sorted out, it would be really good to add some animations : rays of light, rats, water, fog, etc.

This stage has potential, even though it's really small (which isn't very fitting with CVG's MVC styled chars, but whatever). Good luck.

Will do, and thanks Cybaster. Though I have no idea what you mean by the BlackJack trick and I doubt he will either as he's only been making stages for a couple months.

In regards to the style of CVG, the main projects are MvC like, but we're open to all sorts of things really.

WOW, those stages are like armageddon.

What did you want to do when making them?

1. Make the characters fit the whole background?
2. Try to make the background look roomy?
3. Try to fit everything in one picture?
4. Try to make everything look solid without collapsing the stage size?

or 5. Try to put everything together without losing scaling or had trouble making it a high jump stage?

I see you are trying. Good taste though, but too much action going on would make the color and gradient loose it's value. I would shrink some or make the color similar to some parts of the stage. Just do not try to loose alot of color value with the stage itself.
