Fixing a 8GB Transcend Flashdrive

I managed to take it apart with my finger nails but when I came to the raw part of the flashdrive I didn't know what to do. So my two questions are

I don't recommend glue as it could potentially get inside your circuitry. Best thing to do IMO is tape it.

Can you still connect it back to your PC? You should back up your mugen stuff somewhere in case that USB breaks, because it is very likely to do so.

Yes I still can so if a scenario in which case it put the tape but the LED Light doesn't show up but my flashdrive is sturdy what's next?

LED doesn't really matter. All you have to do is somehow get the guts of the USB drive covered up to prevent damage from dust. If it's taped and sturdy, use it like that until you can get a better USB I guess.
