Too bad Arc Sys fighters tend to play rather similar to each other.

I'm ok with this.

Maybe a crossover of the previous ArcSys popular fighting games (including original's Guilty Gear, Blazblue and Battle Fantasia, Capcom's Sengoku Basara, Atlus' Persona, Examu's Arcana Heart (since the 3rd), Shonen Jump's Nura, Dragon Ball Z and North Star)

I hope this would be the one

We need at least an M-Rated ArcSys fighting game, which relies on LUDICROUS GIBS for every finising move. Also, no specific conditions to do it, just perform a command after winning two of three rounds a la MK.

Yes, let's focus on aesthetics over gameplay. "Lame, uninspired gameplay," you say? Screw that, we have blood!
Is finding MUGEN to be more enjoyable to play when you're not wearing clothes an underrated opinion?

It's difficult to tell if this guy's serious or if he's trying to poke at me. He looks like an idiot either way.

lol no we don't. the way the guilty gear finishing moves are look stylish enough and don't take too much time to watch. they're sometimes over-the-top (SHOOTU-DA-MOON!) but not to the point of being completely stupid

literally the only arcsys game that could've used 'ludicrous gibs' is the hokuto no ken fighting game

Irony: the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning.

I know the meaning, Titilin.

It's difficult to tell if this guy's serious or he's trying to poke at me. Either way he looks like an idiot.
You mean like the other times I pointed out how stupid your posts are? Those didn't count?
Also, I'm serious with you.

The ArcSys version of Hokuto No Ken is violent, but not in the MK sense.

+1. dunno why mk is so popular among western gamers. it sucked back then and it sucks more now.

i would love to see a new fighting game from arc'sys that doesn't remind me of GG.

The earlier games are primitive but they've got their own little charm even with their flaws. I think MK finally got its style down with MK9, though. It's definitely fun to play outside of the buckets of blood everywhere.

Same here. I'd like a new Arc Fighter that would step away from motifs similar to GG and (especially) BB.

Battle Fantasia was like the one time they did that on their own.

And there should be Ninjas...

there are ninjas and as opposed to the mk ones they actually show signs of being ninjas that aren't just 'wears the outfit'

and yeah back to the whole gibs thing, it's just a really random thing to say unless the hnk comparison is made, since it's based off source material where a villian's muscles eject the skeleton out of his back, for instance. maybe it'd just be weird to see rei slice kenshiro to pieces or something. i dunno

Guilty Gear has blood already anyway, as does the new Blazblue.

They did, and BBCP doesn't have blood: that's only how the reddish afterglow of the orange heavy slash spark's explosion looks like. Kinda like SFxT's sparks normal heavy sparks, actually.
