Button/Key possibilities in mugen (question)

Hey, I had a question concerning what was possible with the key imputs in Mugen,
well mostly, I was curious if it was possible to have a move performed by 'rolling' 2 keys.
What I mean with this is pressing for example the X key and immediately followed by the Y key;
Tekken has some of these commands for moves.
Is this possible or is it difficult to let it register, and won't it turn into a combo (let's say X, X is a combo, and you want to perform X, X~Y. With X~Y i would mean the X to Y key roll).
I hope I am being clear enough, this is kinda difficult to explain in mere words :P

Haven't tried it as a command. a,b is a sequence of presses. I don't think that A actually needs to be released while you do this unless you use ~a,b.

Increasing the time to perform to 2 would probably let you do it with few options. Would not be too hard to test at all.

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.
