Alex when you get a chance could you edit my last post in the AP thread into the first on the "AP" style.

Itsuchi if you want to try a eb to dbap frame to see if you can do him I can compile something for you, I can also tell you my technique for doing sheets (actually makes them go
faster)

I think I got it but may need to fix the shoes. I used your exact colors in the color table while converting this frame. I also used film for the face. I have a face for very animation in Gohan's EB sprite sheet BTW

The shoes are fine,you actually did a terrific job. There's just some minor anti aliasing issues.Other than that You got the style down right.Now his full sheet will be a bit harder and it's a big amount of frames,but theres no rush so You have plenty of time. I'll compile it this weekend and send it.

He will probably be around 150+ frames (probably more) But when I send it I'll give you my own process of how I do sheets.

Thank you soo much Neocide not only for letting me be a part of this but for the explanation/break down you did on the style on the AP page. It really helped me out. As far as the anti aliasing, that's what really took me the MOST time trying to smooth those curves and edges...especially on the pants lol. I believe I can fix it though. Oh yeah, and his right shoulder was bothering me to

Let me know when you send that sheet. I have an event to attend Sunday but should be free afterwards and I can get started. Also, if you're going to resize the sprites, do me a favor and use the "Nearest Neighbor (Hard Edges)" option. That would really help me out to get the "Exact" color pallate when I convert it to index. Thanx again Neo

That looks Great, I just did my edits and adjustments based off the EB sprites which seems to be the turn for this project. Look at Neo's Krillin, it's EB BUT with the "Anime Perfect" color and edits. You definitely cleared up Gohan's shoe problem and anti aliasing issues with his pants but the lighting is spot on with frame as so: 

I know the pants are "Franiksprited" from the previous Mystic Gohan but that's not the look for him anymore. The new character design comes from edited EB sprites as shown with Neo's Piccolo and Krillin in earlier posts. that's the angle that we're working with, I DO like how you fixed the shoes..they were bothering me

To clarify, Neo's Gohan is NOT the intial "Mystic" Gohan anymore. This was a "Test" image for ME to see if I could do the AP style. Neo APPROVED so we're moving forward now. So no, it won't be awkward and look funny. His Gohan and mine are a lil different...mainly by the face, I used his colors to fit the style of course

Yea,most of gohan if not all is based on EB Gohan. Krillen is too (based entirely on eb) so a lot of the shinb stuff has become obsolete. Goku,Young Gohan,piccolo are more a mix but 90% eb to shinb ratio.

Oh, I missed that. It wasn't put into the description at all unlike other spriters stuff in  vids and that little bit of credit was on for like a micro second. Tbh that's still not any better.

Also wtf coldskin isn't a spriter, the fuck

I seen that ages ago. Luckily I have new sprites now so I don't even care. And lol yea Idk who coldskin is,but he def didn't work on yamcha
