Long story short, I was looking for Ken's SF3 voice rips and I got virus raped. There's one good thing about Vista. System Restore that deletes viruses but not personal shit.

Get Avast. As Chronojuijjiu said, it rapes viruses. I've heard that Avira is good too but I can't really recommend it since I haven't tried it.

Now you learnt the lesson, but unfortunately with the worst way possible. That's why we're always against people putting Esnips links here. If you wanted something, you could have requested it in the Request section.

Webroot rapes everything.
I'm not the only one who has that?  ::)

And Malware Removal by Malwarebytes. That shit saved me from Rogue Antivirus.

Don't you scan your downloads :O?
I have AVG, its good but i heard that a lot of other free anti virus programs are better.
However AVG does show which websites have a virus or any threats, and blocks any viruses :3 which weren't previously seen.

Meh... The only problem i have with AVG is that it sometimes recognizes something as infected (In which the file isn't), but when the thing is scanned with malwarebytes it shows no threats...
False readings?

it picks up on your keygens, which CAN contain malware... although it most likely picks it up as such since they are made to modify program (and system) files pretty much.

I think i might replace AVG with the previously annouced virus protection programs you guys listed. I kind of tested Malware and AVG together (scanning the whol computer) and while malware gave me a full diagonostict on my computers health, files, and it told me that i had no viruses or corrupted files... AVG kept on telling me i had a corrupt HTML thing... and it didn't even help solve it. I think AVG had thought my downloaded zynga poker browser was a threat....

If you have two or more anti-virus programs on your PC, the two will battle each other out as if they were viruses themselves.

I'm quite happy with Esnips.  I even don't know Esnips it self have viruses :(
I use windows 7 and xp. I don't buy any antivirus app. only have free avg installed and viruses still can't get into my computer.

the only tip I can give you guys is a Good habit.
this only work if esnips it-self have viruses.
don't work for the file you've downloaded.

Never use Internet explorer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or any browser use internet explorer's engine.
use Google Chrome ,Firefox or any other Non-IE engine brower.
