Like the title says, it's Alice from Asura Buster but with MvC3 gameplay.  I can't promise gameplay accuracy, but I can maybe promise an entertaining character that's hopefully not too broken.

Note about the AI patch: I've included and updated it for this version (07/28/2018), so there's no current need to download it separately.  The AI patch may get updated in the future after the mentioned date, in which case feel free to download that.

alright nice to see an asura buster character have mvc3 gameplay

just one problem: after she activates her x-factor, her health doesn't get filled automatically for a limited time

isn't the whole point of an x-factor is to have health be filled automatically

Yeah, I noticed that too. Higher speed, health regeneration, stronger attacks just to name a few features. Not bad but can use a few tweaks here and there.

Y'know, I actually somehow forgot that X-factor also regenerated health.  But on the other hand, there's no red health in MUGEN anyway so there'll probably be no health regen unless you want accusations of cheapness thrown at her.  Other inaccuracies that I'll probably leave alone: No speed boost because speed boosts are a pain to code, X-factor time is 10/15/20 seconds instead of 10/20/30, damage boost is always 150% regardless of level, X-factor timer still counts down despite hit stuns.  You can still cancel almost anything into X-factor, at least.

I made an update.

Changelog:
- She has a dizzy animation now, complete with reaper dizzy sparks.
- Spooky Scary Skeleton Summon has a new variant (apologies in advance if this seems to take forever), currently replacing the Skull Trumpet one; I'll bring it back when I make a third variant and randomize between the three.
- X-factor still counts down during Spooky Scary Skeleton Summon, but will not run out until after the attack finishes and deals damage.
- She has an AI now.  Nothing challenging, but at least she won't just mostly stand there anymore.

Thanks, it's fun having her go from only one skeleton in the original game to all the skeletons.  And of course, more skellingtons will come in the future.

Also even though no one seems to be saying anything about it, I've determined that the Uninvited sequence maybe does go on for too long.  For comparison, Joel's Nuke Norway super lasts 30 seconds but Uninvited goes on for 5 seconds longer.  So next update, I'm gonna speed it up a little; maybe make the point-and-click part go by faster like it's a speedrun.

On the contrary, implementing red health is possible, it just won't be visible unless you're like me and code a separate gauge for it.

Should X-factor regenerate health or not?  It does for Ahuron's MvC3 Norimaro, but not for kamekaze's MvC3 Ruby Heart.  I'm leaning towards no, but what does everyone else want?

 I suppose if you're inclined against health regeneration, you can slightly buff a different aspect of X-Factor that you see fit. My idea is perhaps marginally longer duration or modifies the function of other pre-existing character abilities beyond stat boosting maybe?

It's pretty close regardless, but if there's no red health, just make it last a bit longer than currently. It's understandable if you have to do extra to pull it off.

Changing the duration to 10/20/30 seconds like in the original is easy to do, actually.  But the thing is that X-factor still ends when the round does and any time left over does not carry over to the next round.  kamekaze and Ahuron made it that way, so I did the same.  There's no winning three rounds in a row with a level 3 X-factor here like how it can decimate an entire team in UMvC3, so I don't think changing the duration will do much.

Maybe I will do regenerating health after all, but I ain't doing red health.  I'm thinking 1 life per 5 ticks which total to 120/180/240 life healed.  That sound good?

I made an update.

Changelog:
- She has a collapse animation now, triggerable by anyone who utilizes anim 5950.  KO'ing her while she's grounded also works.
- Three new Spooky Skeleton Summons.
- Two new Spooky Scary Skeleton Summons, and it now randomizes between the four.
- The Uninvited sequence is a little faster now.
- X-factor now slowly regenerates health while active.

There's now an alternate Dropbox link in case Mediafire proves disagreeable.

Unless I missed something major, I think this will be her last update for now.  I'm ready to move on to something else; maybe another character, or I might get distracted by a non-MUGEN thing.

My preference for CvS hitsounds is from years of playing with warusaki's CvS characters.  But the MvC3 sounds that are there are of the cleanest quality, at least.

Great work. Congratulations. what. knows there comes a new generation of MvC characters. Asura Blade has always been a charismatic series.

I made an update.  Turns out that I can come up with something that isn't just another cutscene.

Changelog:
- One new special and one new super.
- The Bone Zone's command has been changed, and its old command given to the new super.
- Fixed hyper finish BG not appearing on Spooky Scary Skeleton Summon for player 2.
- One new Spooky Scary Skeleton Summon.

Now that I've exhausted both Alice's movesets, maybe now I'm done with her for now.  But who knows...
