Hey people, I have this doubt, there are someone that Kwon?

Stage photos in mugen character select screen is limited or ilimited?
My mugen have more than 400 stages. I want put a picture in each stage in mugen character
Select screen. Its possible?

Well, the trick is we are using fonts as an image, so each letter would be a photo of the stage, like this:
a = stage 1
b = stage 2
c = stage 3
and so on...
and you can use symbols such as ! ? # and differ lower and uppercase ("A" and "a" can be two different stages)
But even then, 400 stages I think is too much, I think you could make about 60 or so stages using this method, but this is just a guess...

Yep, this is the method. But is so limited.
A interesting point would be mix more combinations but I dont
Kwon If is possible... For example:

a stage1
A stage2
aa stage3
AA stage4
Aa stage5
aA stage6
a? Stage 7
A? Stage 8

...

aaa stage 300
aaA stage 301
...

a!*# stage 500
....

aaa*?#C stage 607


for example.

Its possible something like that?

no, it'd end up like:

a = [sprite 1]
aa = [sprite 1][sprite 1]
aaa = [sprite 1][sprite 1][sprite 1]

You're basically making every screenshot a glyph, which is why you can't make combinations.

That assumes you're using FntV2; the old format lets you use pretty much any glyph.
