I like the idea and I like the exectuion but damn those lifebars are huge man they cover like 30% of the screen.
I suggest scaling them down a tad bit.

Indeed. That's why I don't usually convert lifebars that were originally 640x480 to 1280x720, since the ratio is different. Scale usually does not work 100%, always has problem with 1 pixel more or less. So it is almost a basic requirement to have to redesign the health/power meters, meaning more work which is of no interest to me. In the 640x360 and 1280x720 versions the health meters are higher, to compensate a little though.
