Nah, feels quite uninspired not with the release of Unlimited Match coming soon.

If you wanna make it sound like a slogan SNK came up with (slightly engrish)

you could try:

KOF : ACR

The King of Fighters : All Cast Re-bout

I'm actually trying to find something with that idea in mind just not what you suggested though. :P

Wonderful Screenpack:   nice colors, cool ergonomic.
As the title,simply call it as you think.  :)

Sorry for the long week of no updates. I've been busy with a lot of stuff for the past few weeks (there's our pre-finals and playing Persona 4 and 2k2UM plus other personal stuff).

Anyway, I finally managed to finalize the menu screen.



You can't notice bec. it's just a picture but the red menu cursor is actually animated using a trick I learned from a screenpack from one of my personal fav. screenpack makers. That Geese pic isn't just him as well, it fades in and out into different characters (mostly KOF98UM to keep it consistent).


Btw, I completely suck at making logos, seriously. The best I could come up is this...

Yes I'm going to name it Infinite Match from now on. If anyone can make something better (and I'm sure someone will) then be my guest!

The Menu screen is really very very nice. Can't wait to see that animated. :)
As for the logo, the flames need work, as they don't contrast enough with the name IMO, but apart from that it's not so bad.

I never said I was going to use the logo. I just showed the best thing I could do in Photoshop. I'm really looking for someone to make something better you see. ;P

I think the logo is pretty neat. Better than KOD's game was getting.

Well, the concept is great. maybe you just need to sprite it more, remove the antialiasing on the letters and make it look less JPG artifact. The Font of KOF is good (KOF 2000?). Infinite match should have vertical gradient instead of center-out, but the font style is ok. The flame thing in the BG is very KOFish.

Perfect? no.
Good? yes.
Areas of opportunity and it'll be fitting and awesome ^^

Progress is going great. I'm already more than halfway to finishing everyone's big portraits and I'm still working on them as we speak.



If you wonder why I didn't change it back to that world image it's because it was actually really bad. If you just saw it in motion you'ld understand.
