Darkflare said, October 13, 2016, 04:06:31 pmSo about that announcement for DLC in the Wii-U version. No?Oh ok...
There's supposed to be one more character or something right?I guess we'll probably get a DLC announcement after they release the last one in arcades. With all of them in 1 pack maybe.Either that or we're getting Pokken Tournament Extend for the Switch.
really nice having a pokemon with an ice-type move, even though infernape would've been nice to have in this game, but this works too

So this is how it feels like to have bought vanilla Continuum Shift/Chronophantasma.Not surprised they were saving the new arcade characters for the Switch version.Still don't know how I feel about this.
Blastoise preview (Japanese):Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyNot a lot of fans are liking how he was modeled. His stretched limbs is one of the bigger criticisms; one fan even suggested the nickname Longtoise.
I would actually be totally cool if Swampert made it in, now that you mention that. It'd totally gone over my head, but yeah, we do have two of the gen 3 starters missing its third as well.I'm afraid I have to agree with the ciritcs; Blastoise looks freaking weird in this game. He's more ninja turtle than ever before with the Squirtle Squad. And the limbs growing twice in length just looks wrong. It's Slender Blastoise.I mean, still, hyped at one of the handful of Pokémon I'd want in this game made it, but he looks really off the more I watch him.
Blastoise definitely looks funky, from his model to his animations. At least he looks better during Syngergy Burst.Honestly, if we were to get another starter pokemon as a playable character, I think I'd rather see one from Gen 2 first. We don't have any starters from that gen.
