It just occurred to me that Black Manta appears in a stage transition. Who will take his place once the DLC is out?

Aquaman may take his place if you play as him, if  both are presented then maybe an Atlantian soldier will be in their place

Well, he seems pretty damn brutal. Also, I expected to see an answer to my question about his presence in the stage transition in this video... and I didn't.

They explained in one of the streams that the transition Manta is a different one (either native to the IJ universe or otherwise), bidding his time to take over Atlantis.

I was wondering, Fighter Packs 1 and 2 both had hyped and highly requested characters, but now I really cannot think about who will be in the next one. Netherrealm doesn't seem to be calling that much attention for it either, Black Manta and Raiden where recognizable from the start, but the other shadow teasers don't really hint much.

Well, let them finish this pack first before we can start talking about the final pack... but, there's a very good chance that one of the characters is The Atom (who is their version of Marvel's Ant-Man)

I see this as a failed opportunity for Netherealm. Hellboy in October for Halloween makes perfect sense.

BTW, can someone remind me who Black Lighting is again? I swear he was in that old Superfriends series.

They where not able to use Black Lighting In Superfriends for some reasons and replaced him with "Black Vulcan" who had a similar costume and powers.

Maan I was worried about that when I watched Raiden's trailer, good to know they paid attention to it.  :sweatdrop:
Black Lighting as a Raiden premiere skin it was a good move, didn't thought about it. I thought one of the shadows was him or Static Shock.
Well, Static Shock can be a premiere skin too, who knows?!

that's pretty old and iirc he didn't say static himself was outright canned, just that design.
