QuoteThe previously leaked characters are all said to be in the game. Dee Jay, T. Hawk, Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto, Adon, Cody and Guy.Great.QuoteAll characters will have two Ultras. They will both be available at one time, not selectable like with Third Strike's Super Arts. The commands to execute your Ultras do not overlap. It sounds like the characters from Third Strike are set up with their prior Super Arts. They had three in that game, so one will be their Super and the other two their Ultras. Some characters will have Air Ultras. So Ibuki will probably have Kasumi Suzaku. That also leaves three choices for one super and one ultra. Please let Yami Shigure be the one that gets dropped.QuoteThe Bonus Stages will be returning. Sweeet.QuoteArcade location tests will start this weekend in Japan. This will be an exclusive arcade release at least for a few months. That sounds extremely soon. I don't think this one's legit.QuoteDudley has his Chain combos from Third Strike, plus one additional Chain combo. Guy has his Chain combos. Ah, good, that would mean Ibuki's bound to -QuoteIbuki has a run command. What? Who gives a stuff about that, what about her Chain combos?QuoteCody is the only character with an Alpha Counter and he still has his knife. He supposedly needs his knife to perform one of his Ultras. Nice.QuoteRufus can cancel-break the last hit of his Spectacle Romance, or the launch kick of Space Opera Symphony. Like he needs any more useful stuff.QuoteMakoto has her Tanden Renki Super from Third Strike. Along with everything else, by the sound of it.
Hawk and the Super logo, nice.Edit: Oh there's also a new character right next to him, or new outfit.
I don't care for hawk, but it's nice to see him in another game.I hope they don't put adon in there. I want karin damn it.
When I first saw that, I wasn't sure what it was for, but now that PotS points these things out, BAM THANK YOU VERY MUCH.Konoha666 said, September 27, 2009, 10:56:07 amI hope they don't put adon in there. I want karin damn it. I'm glad Adon's getting in. They need something to dissuade Joe Scrub from defaulting back to Ryu, Ken or Akuma, and characters that can get around fireball spamming is one way. If all the rumors are legit, it's most likely the same reason Ibuki got the nod.
Konoha666 said, September 27, 2009, 10:56:07 amI don't care for hawk, but it's nice to see him in another game.Hawk was one of my favourite characters when I first played Super Turbo, but then quickly turned uninteresting. Hope the personality injection does him good.
I can understand that the big silver S behind the SF4 logo stands for Super, but where do you see Hawk ? At best, I see tattered clothes and some old 2D fighting game on the screen behind.
The portrait in the top right corner is clearly T.Hawk, you can make out the headband and the feathers pretty easily.
Yeah but it looks like it's in 2D to me, so an old Street Fighter. ... Then again the blob on the bottom right corner of the screen does look like the Revenge Bar, so I don't know. It could be Hawk's portrait if you're convinced it's 3D and it's SF4, but it looks 2D to me. Oh well, maybe it's the lighting. Afterall, if it's indeed a SSF4, obviously Hawk's going to be in it, considering they were saying he was nearly ready and was just unlucky in SF4 to begin with, of course he'll be there for a sequel.edit - haha.||V
Byakko, the Half-Life Mod said, September 27, 2009, 04:00:07 pmbut it looks 2D to meSounds like their job is done. Any SF4 shot with a loss of focus looks like (also unfocused) sprites.
Then there's the stage itself, which if the bouncing 4x4 is anything to go by is the Diner stage in SF4; as you said, the Revenge gauge at the bottom; and presuming those white shapes under Ono's hand are someone's pants, the blue tint where the light doesn't hit them reminds me of SF4's lighting.
PotS said, September 27, 2009, 10:47:09 amEdit: Oh there's also a new character right next to him, or new outfit.Looks like Dudley to me: the pants, the shoes.
Okay, got it (I didn't notice the darkest shade of Hawk's side, so I didn't see a humanly-possible position). But now, I don't know what the two white things under Ono's hands are, it doesn't look like a pair of legs.
Legs look female( If they are legs, i cant see what else they would be, since he is in idle and if it was a fireball it would be damaging him) It reminds me of pant legs like Ann hell had.
Tannhäuser/Derive said, September 27, 2009, 11:51:49 pmOf course they do, they look like shoto legs. Can't anyone see a belt? It's either a purple belt, or purple pants under a massive pair of white chaps. Another explanation is it could be a purple loincloth; a new palette for Gen?
