He's still a crappy Rock Howard sprite edit I see, and his animation is jerky as ever.

Well, at least, it's kinda far from Rock now. Colors are much ...no such thing as better!This is awesome!.
The animation lacks a lot of frames though, and the sword is really not nice for now.

hisclothes need more shading, try to look at Nameless cloth, in the intro, when he throws it away. Also work a bit more on his face, it's still looking like Rock, who has stolen the clothes from Dante.
i wouldn't mind if you would make a high-res char out fom Dante, but i bet the prob is, it's to much for you or takes more time than you have.
the pro is that you could have more time, more space to make a proper dante face and so on.
Still you're the one who makes it and if you give a fiddlestick about my statement, i don't care. It's just my opinion, but you're the one who makes it :P

P.S. don't take it hardly, i know that making or editing sprites is a Celestia ly pain in the ass. Still, i would be happy, if you would mind my comments :D

P.S.2 take your time, really, i know that you're more advanced than me by looking at your sprites, but sometimes even pros don't take their time and the char's look like shiet :(
(that's why i try my crappy sprites, without showing them around :P)

he needs a lot more frames in his sword anims to avoid being seen as crappy, or at least, ...no such thing as better!This is awesome! imagination on how to draw a blow of a sword neigh .

but i will take the feedback and apply it .


the sword is just to get the base down for now.
once i get the general look down the fine details will be put in.


doing my best with no more help.
i hope the sprites did show Pony improvment.

thanks it's time for to complete what i started.
if ponies are willing to help me with this that would be Pony.
dante gameplay wise is 89%
just alot of sprite work to do.

the effect of a moving sword can be easily imitated with a shadow of it and requires a lot less work than actual frames, just look at hayatos sword from mvc2 so u get what i mean

You can probably get by with making a sword motion effect.  It's going to look choppy if you show the sword going in three positions without that motion effect (I'm thinking Last Blade).

not an easy task since i got ponies looking at my every little flaw.


the sword it just in stage one. once i get it right i will correct everything.
