Not really...

I just need some help with sounds (Gimme some rips, dont tell me how to rip them :P)

ASAP if possible.

so far I planned alot of modes, not based on gradius but on different modes including a fate/ mode, SNK mode, Capcom mode. Peron mode and others.

post your suggestions about any other possible mode (no mather how retarded it is)

for now you deploy the powerups by yourself by pressing start, of course the deploy has a delay before the next chance to be able to.

you will have 8 categories for power ups (7 from gradius 3 + a new WTF slot), the slots at the bottom are already added but they arent on this screenshot.

I also need help with the option coding because I dont know how to code the classic option (I know how to code the others from gradius 3).

UPDATE:

KONAMI:
CLASSIC
WIDE AREA
OFFENSIVE
CONTRA
METAL GEAR
CASTLEVANIA

OTHERS:
CAPCOM
SNK
---MISSING TYPE---
FATE/STAY NIGHT

SECRET:
GOD VIPER
HOLY SHIT

UNIVERSAL CONTROLS:
A: Equips current power up.
B: Shoots secondary weapon only (Missiles for example).
X: Shoots both weapons.
Y: Shoots main weapon only (Normal shot for example).
Z: Extra button for different purposes (Only used on certain ship types).
START: Deploys a power up capsule.

RULES OF DA VIPAH':
1) Only one main shot and one secondary shot can be equipped at a time, if another is equipped it will override the current one (So LASER removes the normal shot and DOUBLE will remove LASER if equipped later).
2) Some of the power ups can be equipped twice or even more to upgrade it's ability or function (Like SPEED UP on any GRADIUS STYLE).
3) Some super weird power ups must be equipped twice in order to actually have some effect (Like AVENGER on FATE STYLE).
4) Some power ups can be used only once per round (Like BERSERKER on FATE STYLE).
5) The deployed power up capsule appears on a random spot and after picking it up the user must wait a few seconds before being able to deploy another capsule again. There's a 5% chance of getting a MEGA CRASH blue capsule which instanty kills any enemy who is hittable in the very same moment you picked up the item.
6) Some power ups requires you to use the EXTRA BUTTON to access to it's function (Like SHORYUKEN on CAPCOM STYLE). If a style has several power ups that uses the EXTRA BUTTON then the last one to be equipped will override the previous one.
7) Some power ups are "instant use" weapons that are used the instant you equip them, that means they are "one shot" abilities.
8) After getting hit (Hence loosing a life) the Vic Viper will come out of it's edge of the screen (Player 1 or 3 left, player 2 or 4 right) advancing forward in an altitude close to the middle of the screen (Relative to floor). Vic Viper will later be controllable again and will have a couple of seconds of full invincibility. If one or more capsules were kept unused on the power up meter then on the next life you will start with one capsule already available on the meter.
9) Vic Viper can't turn, that means left side player will always face right and viceversa.
10) Vic Viper can only select the style on it's first round in a match (This means subsequent rounds won't allow you to choose a new style).
11) On certain styles holding the shoot button will constantly shoot the desired attack in a certain pace but that doesn't mean it's shooting on every chance it can, by pressing the shoot button multiple times you can actually shoot the attack on every chance you have.
12) On certain styles the secondary weapon button is used to trigger a secondary function on certain weapons (Such as C4 in METAL GEAR STYLE) but that doesn't mean those kind of power ups will override the secondary weapon as those kind of styles dont actually have a secondary wepon to equip at all.
13) Time on the match is frozen until no Vic Viper is alive (No no time overs just like in the real game).
14) Any power ups you are holding will be carried over on the next round or even next match. This includes unused power ups.
15) Vic Viper will change it's color (And even the ship model) depending of the type selected.

POWER UP LEGEND:

MS) Main shot.
SS) Secondary shot.
EA) Extra button (For extra attack or special ability).
IU) Instant use attack.
PU) Time limited or Misc. power up (Not an attack).

----------------------------------------------
STYLE LIST:
----------------------------------------------

** CLASSIC: The first style based on Gradius. A balanced ship in all parts and can handle any situation.

* DEFAULT STATS: Normal shot. Max 3 bullets on screen.

PU) SPEED UP: Speeds up the ship movement and can be upgraded up to 5 more times. If used once max speed is reach you go back to the default speed.
SS) MISSILE: Like the one in Gradius, shots a single missile that will go downwards in a diagonal movement and then travel on the ground forward. Can be upgraded to have an extra missile on screen at the same time. Max 2 bullets on screen.
MS) DOUBLE: An upwards diagonal shot is added to your normal shot. Max 3 bullets on screen. DOUBLE shots won't get counted with normal shots when equiped so both weapons will shot at max capacity at the same time (Behaves like in Gradius Rebirth).
MS) LASER: A quick long laser shot that changes it's altitude according to the ship. Does not pierce. Max 1 laser on screen.
PU) OPTION: Equips an orb that follows you and shoots the same you have equiped. Has a formation style in a straight line behind the ship. Max 4 options at a time.
PU) ?: Shield that protects you from impacts and clashes in the front of the ship. Lasts for 12 hits and will be destroyed quite quick if it's in a constant clash with something. It has a very short invincibility time when the shield get hit but it still dfends you without loosing points on a multihit clash.
PU) !: Random bonus power up (Based on Gradius 3 but different). There are 3 posibilities: you either get a SPEED DOWN, an OPTION per life (You waste lives to get the options, max 3 options) or FULL BARRIER (Which gives you back any hit you lost on the SHIELD if equipped, if not you get the SHIELD). There's also a 12.5% of chance of getting ALL the power ups (Except LASER) at the same time or a 12.5% of chance of getting the MEGA CRASH (Which is a fullscreen instant flash that kills any enemy on screen if they are hittable in that moment) if this is used without anything equipped.
IU) WTF: A bomb that deals great damage. It's first deployed from the bottom of the ship and if it doesn't hit anything then blows up on the ground hitting anything near the big explosion.

----------------------------------------------

** WIDE AREA: Second style based on Gradius. Lacks firepower but has a great range.

* DEFAULT STATS: Normal shot. Max 3 bullets on screen.

PU) SPEED UP: Speeds up the ship movement and can be upgraded up to 5 more times. If used once max speed is reach you go back to the default speed.
SS) 2-WAY: shots two missiles that will travel on opposite directions, one up and one down in a curved arc. They explode one they reach the ground or dissapear if they get out of the screen on the upper part. Can be upgraded to make the missiles faster. Max 1 of each missile on screen.
MS) TAILGUN: A shot that's shoot from behind the ship is added to your normal shot. Max 3 bullets on screen. TAILGUN shots won't get counted with normal shots when equiped so both weapons will shot at max capacity at the same time.
MS) RIPPLE: A shot that get's bigger until a certain point. Max 3 ripple lasers on screen.
PU) OPTION: Equips an orb that follows you and shoots the same you have equiped. Has a formation style in a circular shape that rotates behind the ship. Max 4 options at a time.
PU) ?: Force shield that protects you from impacts and clashes. Lasts for 5 hits and each time you get hit you get a very few ticks of invincibility so if you clash against an enemy you may aswell end up loosing a life or atleast the whole shield.
PU) !: Random bonus power up (Based on Gradius 3 but different). There are 3 posibilities: you either get a SPEED DOWN, an OPTION per life (You waste lives to get the options, max 3 options) or FULL BARRIER (Which gives you back any hit you lost on the FORCE SHIELD if equipped, if not you get the FORCE SHIELD). There's also a 12.5% of chance of getting ALL the power ups (Except RIPPLE) at the same time or a 12.5% of chance of getting the MEGA CRASH (Which is a fullscreen instant flash that kills any enemy on screen if they are hittable in that moment) if this is used without anything equipped.
IU) WTF: A huge multihit laser is shot towards the ship.

----------------------------------------------

** OFFENSIVE: Third style based on Gradius. Lacks range but can deal great damage.

* DEFAULT STATS: Normal shot. Max 3 bullets on screen.

PU) SPEED UP: Speeds up the ship movement and can be upgraded up to 5 more times. If used once max speed is reach you go back to the default speed.
SS) SPREAD BOMB: shots a single missile that will go downwards in a curved arc. When reaches the ground it will explode and cause damage around the explosion area. Can be upgraded to have an extra missile on screen at the same time. Max 2 bullets on screen.
MS) VERTICAL: A vertical upwards shot is added to your normal shot. Max 3 bullets on screen. VERTICAL shots won't get counted with normal shots when equiped so both weapons will shot at max capacity at the same time.
MS) TWIN LASER: A quick short double laser shot. Does not pierce and can be upgraded to have an extra pair of lasers on screen. Max 3 pair of lasers on screen.
PU) OPTION: Equips an orb that follows you and shoots the same you have equiped. Has a wings formation style. Max 4 options at a time.
PU) ?: Reduce ability that shrinks the ship. If hit you will increase your size by 50% and have one extra hit, if hit again you will go back to your original size (The other 50% of the overall size).
PU) !: Random bonus power up (Based on Gradius 3 but different). There are 3 posibilities: you either get a SPEED DOWN, an OPTION per life (You waste lives to get the options, max 3 options) or FULL BARRIER (Which gives you back any hit you lost on the REDUCE if equipped, if not you get the REDUCE). There's also a 12.5% of chance of getting ALL the power ups (Except TWIN LASER) at the same time or a 12.5% of chance of getting the MEGA CRASH (Which is a fullscreen instant flash that kills any enemy on screen if they are hittable in that moment) if this is used without anything equipped.
IU) WTF: An attack with lasers and shots spread all over the screen from the ship.

----------------------------------------------

** CONTRA: The ship has no secondary shot but can upgrade any of the main shots to get extra advantages. When a power up is deployed it will slowly fall from the top of the screen in a small zepelin instead of appearing as usual, you have to shoot the zepelin to get the power up to fall on the ground.

* DEFAULT STATS: Semi automatic machine gun shot with a maximum stream of 3 small bullets. Max 3 bullets on screen.

MS) MACHINE GUN: Continuous stream of sphere shaped red bullets. Can be upgraded for faster bullets. No limit for bullets on screen.
MS) LASER SHOT: Straight blue laser that pierces everything. Can be upgraded for a faster and longer laser. Max 1 bullet on screen.
MS) HOMMING MISSILE: Small missile shots that homes to the enemy. They follow them quite loosely but are persistent and won't stop until they reach their target or collide with another projectile. Can be upgraded to shoot 2 extra missiles. Max 4 bullets on screen.
MS) VECTOR LASER: A slim laser shot that bounces on the edges of the screen. Can bounce up to 5 times before dissapearing. Can be upgraded for an extra shot on screen. Max 2 bullets on screen.
MS) SPREAD GUN: Bullets shot on a wide spread pattern covering big part of the screen. Can be upgraded to get faster bullets. Has a bullet limit depending of which bullets are on screen.
EA: AIM UP: Let's you aim directly up as long as you hold the EXTRA BUTTON. Ship can't move while aiming up.
EA) GRENADE: A fullscreen multiple explosion attack that deals minor to average damage. Each time this power up is used you accumulate a grenade in the grenade counter and a max of 3 can be held at the same time to use whenever you want.
PU) B: Becomes invulnerable for a short period of time.

----------------------------------------------

** METAL GEAR: In this style you only use main weapons (And the STUN GRENADE which is an extra attack) and each weapon has ammo limit. After a magazine of the weapon is over the weapon must reload in order to be able to shot again (It's automatic after bullet count is over). To get back ammo for the weapon you can equip it again and will get full ammo and magazines back.

* DEFAULT STATS: Socom shot with infinite magazines and a fair reload time. Max 3 bullets on screen.

PU) LASER ADAPTOR: Gives Vic Viper a laser in front of it so you can aim better.
MS) FIVE-SEVEN: A weapon similar to the SOCOM but with more firepower. Fair reload time, 8 magazines and no limit of bullets on screen.
MS) C4: Plastic explosive that can be placed on the ground. Can be detonated at will by using the SECONDARY SHOT BUTTON and any near C4 will also explode in a chain reaction. Can place 5 at the same time and they wont dissapear if outside of view. Full ammo is 10 C4.
MS) FA-MAS: A stream of bullets as if you were shooting an automatic rifle. 4 magazines. Has no bullet limit but has long reload time.
MS) NIKITA: A remote controlled missile. Ship can't move or shoot again while the missile is on screen but can move or detonate it at will (By pressing the SECONDARY SHOT BUTTON). Only 8 missiles of ammo but deals good damage and has a fair reload time.
MS) STINGER: A straight missile shot which explodes when in contact against an enemy or the edge of the screen. Explosion can also damage. Only 8 missiles of ammo and slow reload time but deals great damage. Max 1 missile on screen.
EA) STUN GRENADE: An instant fullscreen flash that blinds the users of MUGEN. Lasts for a few seconds. You get one STUN GRENADE each time you equip this item and the max ammo is 5.
EA) RATION OR CARDBOARD BOX: Gives the player an extra life if his remaining lives are above 1, but if Vic Viper has only 1 life left then gives him the CARDBOARD BOX which let's him hide under it as long as the EXTRA BUTTON is held to avoid damage. The box can take up to 12 hits but there are a few drawbacks while using it, first you can't move, second if you're on the air you will fall straight into the ground and third you visibility get's reduced (The whole screen appears dark and you can only see around yourself).

----------------------------------------------

** CASTLEVANIA: The ship will have an extra gauge that shows how much MP is left. Each secondary weapon drains this gauge when used (Each one drains it's own percentage of it) and will slowly refill over time but can be filled faster by collecting power up capsules.

* DEFAULT STATS: Vampire Killer whip with short range and a quick KNIFE shot secondary weapon that travels in a straight line which has no bullet limit but lacks autofire.

SS) KNIFE: The secondary weapon you start with. If upgraded will add an extra diagonal KNIFE shot. Has no bullet limit.
SS) HOLY WATER: Shots a HOLY WATER bottle in a varied arc. Once it reaches the ground it will break revealing flames that will advance a bit causing extra damage. Max 3 bullets on screen.
SS) BIBLE: Releases a BIBLE that goes around you for a while and hits anything on it's path. It will protect you from projectiles. After a certain time it fades away.
SS) STOP WATCH: Paralizes the time and anything on screen except for your attacks for a short time.
SS) CROSS: Shots a white CROSS that travels straight for a while and then comes back. Max 2 bullets on screen.
PU) TRUE VAMPIRE KILLER: Power ups the VAMPIRE KILLER range, speed and power. If upgraded again it will release a short range fireball (Max 1 on screen) just like in Castlevania Adventure Rebirth.
IU) GRAND CROSS: Attack that makes a huge CROSS to appear in the vertical range of the ship. Hits multiple times and deal great damage.
IU) BELMONT LEGACY: Releases many Belmonts (Yeah you read right) that will constantly attack the enemy until they are defeated. Each one can take 4 hits before dissapear and each time they get hit they will fall on the ground and wake up again (Until they wake up they are invincible).

----------------------------------------------

** CAPCOM MODE: This style is mainly for offense as most power ups are just attacks and shots. Ship can parry attacks by pressing forward just before an attack connects to it.

* DEFAULT STATS: Hadouken which travels in a slow-to-average speed. Max 1 bullet on screen.

SS) BLANKA BALL: Shots a Blanka that travels in a downward arc and once he reaches the floor he bounces once to attack the enemy and later falls. Max 1 bullet on screen.
MS) SPIRAL ARROW: Shots a Cammy on a straight line. Max 2 bullets on screen.
EA) SHORYUKEN: Get's the SHORYUKEN, a rising attack which envelops the ship on fire. Gives several invincibility frames. Can be upgraded to get the SHORYUREPPA which can be executed by tapping the EXTRA BUTTON multiple times during the SHORYUKEN (Only if this connects on the first frames).
MS) MEGABUSTER: Shots enbergy pellets, if fully charged it becomes a megabuster shot at full speed. Max 3 bullets on screen.
IU) SHUN GOKU SATSU: The ship travels forward for a short time and grabs the enemy. Ship is invincible during the whole move but can only grab under common circumstances.
PU) OROBOROS: 4 circle robots will rotate around you shooting energy shots shaped as a circle. Each Oroboros has a minimum time limit to shot again so not having the shot on screen doesn't mean it can inmediatelly shoot again. They protect you from projectile damage aswell.
EA) YOGA TELEPORT: A teleport ability becomes available. Direction held during input decides destination and certain time must pass before being able to use this again.
IU) PSYCHO CRUSHER: Makes the ship to go to the edge of the screen and then comes back at full speed on a screen filling attack that hits multiple times. Ship is fully invincible during the whole move. After the ship reaches the other side appears at a random spot (Could be directly above an enemy 0_o).

----------------------------------------------

** SNK MODE: The main shot is always a fire shot (KYO or K' if equipped) while the secondary shot can be another projectile or a physical attack (Which gives the ship clash invincibility). Ship can dodge on this style by pressing the EXTRA BUTTON but can't be used again until certain time has passed.

* DEFAULT STATS: Yamibarai-like fire shot from KOF SKY STAGE (Max 3 bullets on screen) and a secondary shot equipped, the BURN KNUCKLE which makes you attack while moving forward. The ship is invincible to clashes during this move.

MS) K': Shoots a fire circle in front of the ship (Iron Trigger). If the main shoot button is pressed again it shots a small fireball.
SS) RUGAL: Do I have to explain this? :P Genocide cutter!. Ship is invincible to clashes during the move.
SS) TERRY: Get's back the burn knuckle attack.
SS) ASH: Shoots a green fireball that slowly advances forward (Termidor). Hits multiple times and velocity increases with time. Max 1 bullet on screen.
IU) OROCHI: Executes an instant fullscreen attack that hits multiple times and deals great damage. Must be used twice to get the effect (Doesn't have to be twice in a row however but must be on the same round).

MISSING REST...

----------------------------------------------

** FATE MODE: The ship uses the servant cards to get power ups and most of them are of instant use or just gives the ship a bonus. However many of the cards have more than one use.

* DEFAULT STATS: KANSHOU and BAKUYA. They travel in an upwards or downwards arc. Max 1 of each knife on screen.

PU) RIDER: Speed is set to level 3 (Equivalent to CLASSIC MODE). Enemy is also slowed down for 2 seconds the moment this is used. Can be used again but just to slow down the enemy as speed cannot be risen again.
MS) ASSASSIN: Ship get's tansparent as long as this shot is equipped. Get's a new KNIFE SHOT. They travel in random range between 45 and 135 degrees. Max 2 bullets on screen.
MS) LANCER: An upwards LANCE SHOT that travels in a downwards arc. If this power up is equipped and the ship looses it's last life then there's a 50% chance of getting an extra life (Battle continuation), this however works only once per round. Max 1 bullet on screen.
IU) SABER: executes the EXCALIBUR SHOT which is a huge golden beam. Deals great damage, covers great part of the front of the ship and hits multiple times. Takes a short time to cast it however.
PU) CASTER: Adds an extra option-like orb that shots different kind of elemental attacks by itself (Doesn't react to the user's input).
PU) ARCHER: Starts with a long spell and if the ship doesn't get hit at the end of it Unlimited Blade Works is casted, after that several swords may attack the enemy on random patterns and from different positions for a short time. A new attack which sends a wave of swords directly to the enemy is available by using the SECONDARY SHOT BUTTON but reduces the time UBW is active each time is used.
PU) BERSERKER: Number of lives is set to 12 and get's super armor. During super armor mode you can get hit but you won't explode, instead you simply loose a life and get a few ticks of invincibility. Can't use this again in the same round.
PU) AVENGER: Resets everything to the start of the battle including the position of the characters (Set's them on the ground in standing state), their life (Fully restores it) and their power (It's set back to 0). KO'ed characters won't come back to life. Must be used twice to get the effect (Doesn't have to be twice in a row however but must be on the same round).

so you wanna adapt the sprites to the current 2x resolution? qell, I can send you the sprites later after I finish a few things  :)

well, to say the truth I was far from internet and mugen for a week but im finally back so expect a few screenshots in a few days guys, btw I have 2 modes to explain, post your opinions later (and also suggestions for new modes, Im taking practically anything).

Quote
* CLASSIC MODE:

- DEFAULT STATS: Normal shot (Max 3 bullets at a time).
- SPEED UP: Limit is 6 times, after that you go back to the default speed (Like in Gradius 3)
- MISSILE: Like the one in Gradius, it will go downwards in a diagonal movement and then travel on the ground forward. Max 2 bullets at a time.
- DOUBLE: An upwards diagonal shot is added to your normal shot. Will replace LASER if used. Max 3 bullets at a time.
- LASER: A quick laser shot. Will replace the normal shot or the DOUBLE shot if used. Does not pierce like in Gradius. Max 2 bullets at a time.
- OPTION: An orb that follows you and shoots the same you have equiped. Probably gonna use the formation style from Gradius 3 if no help is found about how to code the classic version. Max 3 options at a time.
- ?: Force shield that protects you from impacts and clashes. Lasts for 5 hits and each time you get hit you get a very few ticks of invincibility so if you clash against an enemy you may aswell end up loosing a life or atleast the whole shield.
- !: Random bonus power up from Gradius 3. There are 3 posibilities: you either get a SPEED DOWN, and OPTION per life (You waste lives to get the options), The MEGA CRASH (Which is a fullscreen instant flash that kills any enemy on screen if they are hittable in that moment) or FULL BARRIER (Which gives you back any hit you got on the force shield if equipped). There's also a 25% of chance of getting ALL the power ups (Except LASER) at the same time if this is used without anything equipped.
- WTF: A one-time use bomb like weapon that deals great damage. It's first deployed from the bottom of the ship and if it doesn't hit anything then blows up on the ground.

Quote
* FATE MODE:

- DEFAULT STATS: Kanshou and Bakuya (Max 1 bullet of each weapon at a time). They travel in a varied arc.
- RIDER: Speed is set to level 3 (Equivalent to CLASSIC MODE). Enemy is also slowed down for 2 seconds the moment this is used.
- ASSASSIN: Ship get's tansparent and get's a new knife shot (Replaces normal shot or LANCER if equipped). They travel in random degrees. Max 2 bullets at a time.
- LANCER: An upwards lance shot is added to the normal shot (Replaces ASSASSIN if equipped), travels in a downwards arc. If this power up is kept and the ship looses it's last life then there's a 50% chance of getting an extra last life (Battle continuation), works once per round. Max 1 bullet at a time.
- SABER: One-time use Excalibur shot. Deals great damage. Takes a short time to cast it.
- CASTER: Adds an extra option-like orb that shots different kind of attacks by itself (Doesn't react to the user's input). Max 1 bullet at a time.
- ARCHER: One-time use attack, starts with an spell and if the ship doesn't get hit at the end of it Unlimited Blade Works is casted.
- BERSERKER: Number of lives is set to 12 and get's super armor. Can't use this again in the same round.
- AVENGER: One-time use special ability: Resets everything to the start of the battle including the position of the characters (Set's them on the ground in standing state), their life and their power. Must be used twice to get the full effect.

Quote
* CAPCOM MODE:

- DEFAULT STATS: Hadouken (Max 1 bullet at a time). They travel in a slow speed.
- SHORYUKEN: Get's new move (Can be used by pressing the extra button).
- MEGABUSTER: Can charge the Hadouken, if fully charged it becomes a megabuster shot at full speed.
- SHUN GOKU SATSU: One-time use attack. The ship travels forward for a short time and grabs the enemy. Ship is invincible during the move.

You have modes from other game types, but virtually none from other shooters?
Like Darius, Touhou, even the Cave shootemups?

Touhou - Basically you pick up one powerup to add power icons. They come in varying sizes and each size gives different amounts of power points. When it reaches a number that isn't a decimal, like 1.00 or 8.00, it upgrades. Oh, you also have spellcards. Which are like bombs. There's also a button that slows you down, and changes your shot type.

MS) Main shot. (Shot powerup)
IU) Instant use attack. (Bomb)

Dodonpachi - You rapidly press the attack button, you shoot bullets, but if you hold the attack button down, you shoot a laser beam, and your movement becomes slow. Collect powerups and crap, you powerup. Oh, and bombs as well.

MS) Main shot. (Shot upgrade)
IU) Instant use attack. (Bomb)

(Bomb)

The problem is I know no shit about Touhou (besides the artwork style) so I cant really make a faithfull style based on it. If you can make a style by yourself (with the 8 power ups) I'll include it (I'll also need to know how the attacks look like to replicate them).

Hey, where did Peron mode go? ;P

You could use that with a black palette... ^_^

I forgot to tell you all, there are 3 secret modes, you just named one of them. There's also a 30 lives code.

Iced Mode-Instead of shootin bullets shoots fireballs and for a power move a flamin hadouken

That mode looks familiar :D

Either Radiant Silvergun : http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Radiant_Silvergun_Weapons.png

Or maybe Ikaruga. Switching colors (black - white) would make you take less damage (because invincible, as in the game, would be cheap) to some types of damage.
If you're white, you're resistant to projectiles for example, but deal more damage if you're close.
If you're black, you're resistant to melee attack, but deal more damage if you're far.

You should also add that you take double damage if you get hit by a melee attack as white, and vice versa.
Unless this character was meant to die in one hit.

I cant use defence changes because Vic Viper either dies in one hit or looses 1 point of his shield.
