Thanks for your critics, i have lot of things to learn, it's just a week that i've start this new "editing" thing, i'm a newbie. ;)

could you please explain me the "axis" matter?

i don't know what you mean.

about the timing i think it's quite difficult, maybe later i'll post the single sprites so you can suggest me which one to extend and which one to shorten.

The shading on the legs for most of the kicks seems really awkward. I dunno how to put it into words. :-\

yes you're quite right, i'm not so good in shading.. :( :(

yeah the shading could use some work but overall....I can see this for an alternate mode for sagat in the future.

I only think that the leg, when being extended forward, could look less still-- as in, move it a bit in the second frame of the impact, or something like that.

The animation still has a great flow to it, though.

I only see one more frame missing, maybe he should move his kicking foot a bit. Keep the good work

thanks man, i've checked and, compared to cvs joe higashi i have, there are no missing sprites.

anyway, small tweaks on some details in several sprites and timing (exactly the cvs joe ones):



and the "strong" version (little changes in timings only):



which you prefer?

i think these are the definitive versions of my teep kick (no more tweaks if you agree), i'll go on with the next new move. ;) ;)

The animations look good to me, especially the second one, but the shading doesn't work. It doesn't make sense for the raised leg to stay that dark. Just look at the other kicks to see what it should look like.

All of the animations look great. Obviously they need a lot more detail(s). Just minor things that will polish the character's look.
Like the first and last frame of the Teep Kick, his shorts seem tight to his leg.
The wrapped look of his legs. Just the small stuff.
Overall they look pretty good.

hello, i'm back, i changed my mind, i wanted to try to completely edit the cvs joe's low kick to find out how it could look like on sagat.

here you are the result.



i'm not sure if continue to completely edit the cvs joe moves into sagat (i think that cvs joe is the most accurate muay thai char, speaking about sprites and flow of the animations) or to continue with my previous edits (of course not so good like these last two - teep kick and low kick).

The differences really are night and day, between the new and the old one. Without a doubt, the new one looks much better, given that you've managed to give it a much natural flow. I just love how smooth you managed to make the animation as well. Good work.

here you are my new "hook" kick (or sort of), based from adon intro vs sagat.



i know it's not so good like the previous ones, but unfortunately the base sprite of adon are very few, i think some more sprite would needed to be more flow..

anyway i like the result.

His face needs to twist slightly and this would be coo if this move hit on both sides seeing how he's doing that back hand in case of a cross up.
