Awesome conversion, too bad I cannot identify Chiester 410's arrow sprites, otherwise I would had released her sooner. I'm getting Battler anyway^^

Nothing at all awesome about this. It doesn't even fucking play, chain, or combo right. The fucking walking and running animations are goddamn misaligned (and I suspect there's more to come if I cared enough to look even closer). The collisions are garbage.

Okay I lied, this is awesomely lazy and godawful.

It's actually a good layout for PS2 and XBOX controls. it's not cool for keyboards but it is for joysticks.

-His attacks are loose compared to the source itself (but that can be a good thing, the timing in the game was quite difficult)

-his EX attacks and supers regain meter

-His C/641236Y Super does not have a time stop start up like in source, thus impossible to combo into.

Quite a few characters when hit by his 236236Y and c/641236Y supers, will get stunned after the attack.


Along with his supers above, his 6Y attack may glitch the opponents by either replacing them with a different sprite, stun them in place, or have them disappear all together.

and the 6Y attack alone works on quite a different range of characters then the characters the super stun above effects. So there is a high chance that at least one of your characters in your roster is affected by him.

Feedback:

- All attacks produce debug problems.

- Bad keyboard layout. I mean, was it that hard to make it like x=L, y=M, z=H, then the Meta and normal super wherever he wanted?

- All super attacks do too low damage. They should do more than just 90. Meta super damage is realy low for a level 2 super, the same for the 236236y super. They also let Battler recover power. All of them.

- The two laser attacks and the 236236y attack freezes the opponent completely.

- I think the grab is misaligned. Just at the moment when he hits the opponent. It looks weird.

- No difference in any version of the 236x/y/z attack. I wish it was like in source, different buttons makes the bird go further, but add more startup. There's a lot more inaccuracies in moves and comboability.

- Why does he use the voices for when you grab a man character with 214x/y/z/b move? It's more funny the other ones for woman, specially the one he uses with Jessica ("Itadakimasu!")

Well, at least it's something different from the terrible Baggy characters. I wish he worked more on making it accurate on source. I recommend he uses this:

... for any information about accuracy of moves. For comboability, he should play the game. Personally, I find this character stiff, compared to source.

There are lots of characters who fights like this and you don't noticed? Anyway, Battler was not meant to be a fighter, watch Umineko No Naku Koro Ni to know why.

641236Y 可以用2Y接,或是空中重拳打到剛好暈掉的時候,由於mugen1.0沒有距離拉遠的效果,亂舞技目前還沒辦法接

Battler may change his voice during his dash special motion depending if the enemy is male or female which don't happen in this version.

But btw, I tried, and it is possible to combo the Meta super from another attack. D+y, then Meta super is a combo. There's still the problem that it freezes characters the Meta super.

Alright I just translated Nanashi_1337 和 OverHappy Kamekaze 和 Toshio's feedbacks from English to Chinese for Boomer and posted at his WIP beta release topic at MUGENChina!

Please note that Boomer in his first post already mentioned:

"做這人物花了我半年多,招式大致上都完成了,先測試看看有沒有Bug,換人和Meta系統還沒做,抵銷系統我不會做,"

= "I spent more than six months to work on Battler, all moves were done without depths, please test for bugs first, the character exchange and Meta system are not done yet, and I don't know how to do the Meta cancels"

This is just a WIP beta testing release....................he posted in MUGENChina WIP forum not the normal release forum.......
