If its what im getting at, which ....kindof doesnt make sense here... it means abusing your power onto the weak to win, and thus having an hollow victory for you have injured someone weaker than you to attain it.

Another great thing about ambiguous statements is that people always hear what they want to hear.
There's no reason here for me to straight up tell you guys what I was trying to say, this is much more entertaining.

Hey I said it didnt made sense to me.

The other option is classifying the action as immoral, ( wife beating) which could do with a better simile than that one.

The reason the wife ends up winning by crying is because it makes the husband out to be the bad guy. And regardless of how the arguement has been going up to that point, the husband cannot win, seeing as he is now in the wrong, and must now apologize to the wife for making her cry, and by connection apologize for whatever they were argueing about.
