Thought i saw someone on deviantart making syota sprites, he would be a cool addition.
As for your portrait set, the best one of the set is mina; you did some great Frankenspriting although the hue of her skin is too high.
I had a similar problem when I first made reiji.
A good idea would be to reference the others that were made by SNK or even some of the others for skin color.
All the others seem okay but are in need of quite bit cleaning, buffing and smoothing.
White's hat and hair are out of place because of the k9999 head tilted, may want to make the hair shorter on the left and longer on the right.
Keep working at it, make comparisons and duplicate the style.
I have completed the image of syota sprites, but I need a partner who understands Chinese. :)

So.. I could not find that Dudley portrait anywhere on the internet!! I gave up for now.
I know one for Makoto(SF) doesn't exist, but there might be one for a good base.
Last alternative is always to pay for it, no empty requests. If anyone is interesting in making a lil extra money, we can work out a rate. I need quite a few.
I know we talked Melcore, as I did with MW, but you guys need that break.

Haha eyebrows should be more SSJ3 like. Sure its a combination of IRL responsibilities and no motivation. Not sure who else uses these in the same capacity? I appreciate the attempt, I do use these frequently as I'm doing this whole story mode thing so definitely keep messing with them and I can at the very least put them to use, if you still have fun doing them. I am pretty active when it comes to making things, just contact me via youtube/email. Forums seem to be very dry when it comes to actual content creation. That is for those of you who want to be around something active, or alternatively use this again.

The main problem is that it has thin and thick characteristics, I find it difficult to translate them to this semi-profile position
As for my art, I always do it with motivation, otherwise I would not publish it  :S :S  :gossip:

You did a great job, got the ball rolling. Were you interested in getting paid to continue? If not, whatever you decide to make, if I can find a use for it, I will. If you need suggestions, or a challenge, I also have a few ideas. Port came out great on both ends.

you laid the groundwork, all I did was smooth it out and made some changes.
keep making portraits, you will get better.
also the more you post in here the more likely I will be there to help you with them or finish them.

I'll clean his up shortly. Thanks again, pretty hype.

I'm going to work more on it, to reflect the CS, I also want to redo his eyes on the sprites I did. On the actual sprites, similar to Haohmaru in cvs, the hair is a single color smh. As you'll see it doesn't look as good.

As for the other suggestion, Makoto. You can also find a link to her in my topic in the depths of the ikemen board.

Yup, the benefit of this style though, you can adapt to the palette. I always liked it when characters win-ports etc would be the same color that you chose.


Going to go back and resprite his face as I did this a while ago, less experienced in spriting.

Good start, franq, but the chin give her an odd feeling tho be a him, as for the hair, it's all also a bit off  But I recall that's good for a start. Keep going!
