Please don't play like Mortal Kombat. It looks like Mortal Kombat. Sigh. At least it looks better than DC vs MK.

Well, that's good from a story stand point. And MK9 is a good game IMO, I just don't like MK gameplay or it's aesthetics in general.

Hopefully this deviates enough to interest me.

It would surprise me if we get MK9 with DC characters

I guess there will be some same gameplay mechanics but all in all the difference might be the same as in Street Fighter Alpha compared to X-Men Children of the Atom, but its way too early predictions...let`s see if we get gameplay videos at the E3

What's wrong with the costumes I don't like this Batman look. Gameplay doesn't look so hot either. Day1  if Supergirl is in.

I hate the new designs because they're all so needlessly busy with a ton of unnecessary lines and panels and shit.  They all look like they're wearing Iron Man suits, except for Harley Quinn who looks like a juggalo prostitute.

Gameplay looks exactly like MK vs DCU lol.  What with the stage interactions and such.  I'll get it if Kevin Conroy is Batman.

First. The slow mo on paused action scenes ... I liked it better on UMVC3's announcement.
Second. Those guys have no sense of aesthetics. Why does the action need to look so fast and tacky?
Third. Cinematic beat downs ... reminds me of SF4 ultras.

Since when MK finally came out and I played it, I pretty much ended up eating up my words, I'm gonna hold any further judgement on this one, but so far, I'm not sure I like what I see.

More or less same here, after seeing the Trailer 3 times i have mixed feelings, and fear it could be too similar to MKvsDC in some ways. I however like the characterdesigns and believe there will be oldschool costumes for the characters anyway

But as mentioned i am glad a new fighting games IP gets created, after all the sf, mk, sc, tekken etc series games with only skullgirls, persona arena being something new this year it cant hurt to see something different..and that Warner Bros would allow NRS to develope a game which could bomb seems out of the question

Not a fan of the concept of bastardizing the JL's characterizations.

Can't NR take anything without turning into an MK clone?

If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

another MK VS DC game with exaggerated punches and kicks that throw you out of the atmosphere. Great

You mean like ...

Cinematic beat downs ... reminds me of SF4 ultras.
With MK's complete inability to make you feel any impact from the hits. No sense of fighting thrill and punch as usual, pass.
THIS, I was just thinking this as I watched the trailer.

No envshakes, no good hitsparks, no good gethit sounds. It lacks PUNCH (which is what characterized MK, but this isn't it)
