(EN)This was the band "Delpht", of which I was part for some years as a keyboardist, also doing the programming of orchestration and percussion, when I was between 17 and 19 years old.

"In Africa" was a song with strong ethnic influence, especially African and Spanish - obviously influenced by the mixture of styles that was common at the time, initiated by Angra. I composed a good part of this song (around 70%), having even composed the lines for other instruments. It was quite experimental at the time.

The band took a new direction soon after the release of the CD, with the departure of several members, leaving only 2 members of the original lineup.

Keyboards: Korg X3 and Yamaha PSR-510.

20 years later, I still have contact with some members. Even though I was in the past, I still have fond memories of that time.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but this is pretty interesting stuff ;)

I really like the idea.
The whole composition of it is actually pretty good tbh. Even pretty technical at some parts.

Some nice tempo changes here and there.
Your vocalist sounds a bit odd though.

Not bad at all.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I am a huge progressive fan, so I love tempo changes and odd times.
