In my opinion, I think something like an updated version of third strikes lifrbars would work. I was also thinking of using add004 but meh

add004 confuses the hell outta me :V

Id prefer something that is nice and simple but uses custom ports, like UNIB, DBFC HDN, Valeri Flux's LBs, and all Vects other SP's Custom LB's.

i konw add004 is popular but i just dont see myself using it ever.

Ah ok, sounds good.

Did you ever figure out what to do about that Blank spot thing?

If not i can just not seperate them by row/category and just use slot by slot like intended.

How do you do the small ports?

Im trying to do it differently now, the way it was intended because the way i was doing it, the cursers wouldnt work since i used the same slot position for each and just moved it on the main template to match it.

I get to the part of using the Pen tool to crop outside of the char area but i have no idea how you deleted the parts outside of the selection and wound up with no extra part of the render outside of the slot space.

When i try i get this.

The cursor should match on the slot you put your character in, if you decided you wanted to change the position you also have to chang ethe cursor. Hrmm you delete the contents from the clipping mask ad it should be fine. Make sure you dont use feather when cropping.

Sorry just confuses me when you do keyboard shortcuts in your tutorial.

I do select inverse as you said, but after i delete the contents outside the seelction after doing inverse, i wind up with excess parts of the image.

You do it with the clipped mask and the slots
Because leave the selection in there and release clipping mask and delete the excess parts.

Ok i figured that part out, but i still wind up with excess. As in more of the image that fits in the slot area.

Even after i make the selection, select inverse, release clipping mask, and delete, the image goes past the border of the slot.

What I've been doing is
- make a clipping mask of the image I want in the slot I want
-resizing the image to fit
-then click on the layer of the small ports
-then I go to the lasso tool, and outline the slot the port is in
-And then I make a layer from copy
-and then all you have to do is make sure every layee but that copy is visible
-save that file as a png and you good.
Hopefully that helps

Ok so i tried your method and it works!

What i did was your method but a few differences.

i started out making a clipping mask, resized, clicked on the layer of the small port, dragged it over the port slot to fit. Outlinned the Slot using The Polygonal Lasso Tool, Selected Inverse, selected the Image Layer, Deleted. Moved the Picture above the Port Slot Layer. Hid the Collection of Slots. Save as PNG.

Thanks for the help!

Since there seems to be no ports thread i guess ill just post this here.
First of great SP. I always wanted to play 7thn fullgame but for some reason it never worked on my computer.
I made 2 Win ports for Ryu.

The japanese text are probably wrong since i used google translate to translate.
