they are a bit chibi but their heads are the right size for what older games did.  I dont think they should change as it would make them less visible.

Goten already appears like that with gohan on  his winposes and intros.

Does he? I forgot Goten made an appearance in Gohan's ending. I'll have to look that animation up. It'd be interesting to compare.

The hair doesn't change shading when the body does.

Also this:
[...]I only feel highly bothered by the midtone shading in the sprite's colors. There's just too much banding  with it, and it makes the sprite look ugly. That is a common mistake with your sprites, and you need to break those midtone lines a little bit.


This applies here too.

Yeah Goten and Trunks heads are bigger than Gotenks, it was intentional, so they look younger and more cutter.

About the banding, ill try to break those lines more, its a bad habit i know hehe.

Oh also thanks to HQ, hes been helping me correcting some animations, im in process of updating those anims, after that i should start with standing hard kick, and next the aerials or crounches i guess

 Holy shit, yet another Z2 curveball. These animations are absolutely full of character, god damn. I mean just look at the walk... you nailed this character man! This might be the first time I've ever found Gotenks endearing. Fantastic work dude, I really mean it. :O I hope he goes SSJ3 for a finisher somewhere! It would be cool to have all three forms represented in HDBZ in some capacity.

On a slightly unrelated note I like how this game is starting to take a Buu saga theme, with Buu-arc costumed Vegeta, Majin Vegeta, Babadi, Super Buu, Ultimate Gohan, and now Gotenks - plus, if those unofficial projects get off the ground we might just get Vegito and Kid Buu too.
