yeah im correcting some of the old anims, HQ edited some to improve the anims quality, sorry for not showing anything lately, it has been a busy week, ill have new stuff next one i hope
I'm seeing this thread for the first time and I love to see what you guys is gonna do with this character.Will he have a partially new system? Because Gotenks in my opinion is the most Inexperienced of the Z Fighters so I'd like to see what you're gonna do with him.Will Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack and Super Buu Volley Ball be regular Hypers or Awakening Mode Hypers?
For now they are planned as normal hypers.But remember things change a lot during development and itmight end up otherwise.
Good to know will his fighting style break away from the rest of the Z2 Cast? I was thinking he couldnt have certain attacks or moves the other characters had inexchange for few different things.
Every Z character follows the basics , then they get added specific systems that might befit them ( like gohan special dash back and aerial dashes) and then they get a moveset that is discussed and adjusted literally for months and months.They are all set out to be as unique as possible, with a mix of moves from games where they have participated and new moves that might fit. Those are tested and retested and we add and remove things as it seems fit ( Majin vegeta only gained proton bomb right at the end, Normal Vegeta only gained the tantrum at the end as well, originall tantrum was a majin move ) So, expect the unexpected.
Hate to beat a dead horse, but I'm still noticing a lot of banding in your shading. Any plans to fix that?
Maybe ill do a small revamp on some sprites in the future in order to fix that, i think i just naturally sprite like that, its hard to change some habitsCrouch light punch
Is your launcher going to be on the Heavy Kick or Heavy Punch? That might influence your decision.At first glace I think this would be good for a heavy punch (maybe with 1 more recovery frame).
Well standing hard kick and standing back+hard punch can be launchers on their own: Not sure what to do
How about using this head attack as his Crounching Punch Zero Counter ?It could also find some usefulness as a Command Move I guess, but I don't know how. Or perhaps a special with big startup, being able to break P2's guard (or just being an overhead ?), and sending him flying, while Gotenks goes back on the ground holding his head because it hurts (cf. when he hit Buu's head with his own and both were hurt).
