check in the .air file of the character and search for the move you can shorten it that way or if they coded the timing check for the statedef of the move itself, if they didnt label it in the cns check your cmd file for that character and match up the move name(or button motions) with the statedef then go on from there.

Wtf ?

Well just look into the characters .cmd file using Fighter Factory look for the move using the toolbar on the left then just grey it out by adding ";" to the beginning of the codes line so say if you wanted to disable a move just do this.

;Thermidor DM
[State -1, Thermidor DM]
type = ChangeState
value = 2000
triggerall = command = "Thermidor DM"
triggerall = power >= 1000
trigger1 = (statetype = s) && ctrl

to

You can still establish what's what. If you know how to do the command you can find it in the .cmd and then follow it through to the changestate. If you can't do that you can turn on debug in mugen (ctrl+D) and read what state your character has entered and find THAT changestate in the cmd.

In M.U.G.E.N there is no magic button

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

first of all sorry for the late post.i am full of finals these days at uni  o_O
anyways i did that change at .cmd file.its like

;Symbiote Helper Hyper
;[State -1]
;type = changestate
;value = 3020
;triggerall = var(50) = 0
;triggerall = var(0) = 0
;triggerall = power >= 2000
;triggerall = command = "change"
;triggerall = statetype = S
;trigger1 = ctrl = 1

but cpu still keeps spamming it.maybe i should look for it somewhere else also?

  • I will absolve you of your original colors.

All you need to do is turn on the debug, find the state that you go to for the hyper: find the change state in the .cmd that takes the CPU to that move and change:

type = changestate

into

type = null;changestate

The changestate you have messed with is for human use, find one that has the same value, but doesn't have:

command = "??????"
