The absent of a DK character causes this.

Sadly the "Super Mario Fighter 3" game isn't released or ripped.

Well.. More time to wait a good DK character appears in MUGEN.

No, I won't download this to see how bad it is. And since I don't want to derail the thread more with just "this thing sucks" (since ti REALLY sucks), let's add some feedback to this thread, just by seeing this video:
-Dk never has got that size. Yes, he's big, but no so big as Hulk or Sonson's transformed monkey
-The character has no weight, a char with a size like that should be heavy and slow as Hulk, instead he jumps, runs and almost floats as if he was Mario of even a pocket character
-Not to mention about edits, the hands are horrible and general animation feels stiff
-Spam AI: punch punch punch roll punch punch punch roll (repeat to infinite)
-Misaligned sprites all over the place
-And about that, it's like DK has no ground below him, just by seeing the roll, slide hits and in general all his 5030s and 5040s
-Hitsounds are too slow, I expected more noise, just it sounds like every single punch/kick is a low hit
-I never see any of DK's signture moves from DKC series or SSB series, just direct punches instead clapping or stomping with his hands, nor releaseng barrels, get Diddy as striker or any of these things you should expect from a character like DK

I must say Ax has lowered to the level of Mazemerald, and that's enough to say about this character. Not just the gameplay, most of the sprites should be remake or make major fixes. If you're fan of DKC/SSB, please avoid this thing at any cost

The absent of a DK character causes this.

I would like to see that game even playable or downloadable, it's so hard to find, I tried for months with no results :-\

When Ax said on MMV that he was going to clean up the sprites before releasing DK I assumed it would be more then well just adding a tie.  No matter I needed hand drawn looking base for a DK V3 I so wanted to do when I get access to my computer again I'm gonna give these sprites an overhaul starting with his stance and give him a proper standing on all fours kind of thing just for a start.

This kind of reminded me of an aprils fools release, sprites and pictures look nice on the post but once you download it.... yeah....

this was posted at MFFA a couple of days ago. i got the ok from Ax to work on this character. Ill be re-releasing this char this week....all fixed. so hold on guys, i know this is incomplete as FUCK...

yea...but to the point where its playable. We all told him that rushing characters and/or lots of betas isnt a good look as an author. better to be patient....especially a char like DK who hasnt gotten the full mugen treatment. You'll see...itll b a lot better.

Well, other than everything that has been said about the horrible sprites, the inaccurate size, and the gameplay, I can't believe Ax gave him sounds of a chimpanzee. He's a goddamn gorilla, how can you even get that wrong?

Speaking of infinites...

Its also a valid infinite blockstring due to his standing MP being +8 on both hit and block while his jab only has 5 frame startup. The massive range doesn't help matters, either.

Also his LK has a tendency to become unblockable when used at point blank due to having 0 frame startup (not to mention 0 recovery frames as well but thats a separate issue).

Standing HP also has the same 0 frame startup & recovery issue as LP does.
