Without any news these days, perhaps the development of MUGEN program has long been stopped.I believe the present release is far from satisfactory, given something like this http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/afterimages-pissing-you-off-well-theyre-broken--167276.0.html. Not to mention those problems of dangling pointers and buffer overflows which are even extensively studied and exploited by some authors. Is there a chance to replace Elecbyte's structure with some open-source resolution?
Maybe not since they made a custom build for that kickstarterGame that had mugen char releases I forgot the name of it.Hopefully they can release that build or something better.Anybody know how big the team is? How old are these guys too?I have a feeling there pushing mid 40's
They might update 1.1 to a stable version in about 10 years or so if we're lucky lol and most people will be gone by thenDont even get your hopes up just enjoy whats out now and dont even think about the program will be updated again

ah, I remember that, yeah, wehad one guy claiming he had contacted ebyte and bought a license from them, he even gave some relatively convincing info regarding ebyte's identity.
http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/rotten-core-team-aiduzzi-crowdfunding-campaign-173838.0.htmlIt's not a custom build they gave them, Elecbyte gave them the source code.

I remember that was cancelled because the guy Aiduzzi was working with for it was shady or something.
yeah, Rotten Core was one of the last things Elecbyte posted about on their Twitter.https://twitter.com/elecbyte?lang=enOn topic though Elecbyte is never completely dead!
Idk man I feel mugen 1.1b is the last we will see from them.If they come back in 10 years like the first time, shit ill be 43 I wont be around messin with mugen, they're be a whole newgeneration of creators around here probably
