This character is pretty good though. All of his standing and crouching normals are unblock able when the opponent is in the air and his lvl2 is just an unblock able period.but other then that.....

I seriously enjoy this character i cant believe you made him. Good stuff. One thing i highhhlly suggest is that have some air normals chain. Not all of them, like 3 target combos that work really good when you cross someone up like jump medium into heavy kick or heavy kick into heavy punch when you get that early jump kick and aren't yet on the ground to recover. Also when i first played this character, i only thought his air medium kick self crossed up. I was gonna praise you for being a genius for doing this, till i noticed all of his air attacks do that :( .

Excell Combo only grants multi-chaining on the ground not in the air ...

This is a nice surprise for sure, looking forward to seeing more updates, and more stuff like this from you!

Standing and crouching normals being unblockable midair is from the POTS gameplay, which is what I'm going for. But I can easily fix the Lv. 2 being unblockable.

Excell Combo only grants multi-chaining on the ground not in the air ...

He does looks a bit too big and pixelated but is easy to edit/fix with some localcoords.

Hm... Seems like a decent start.

Though I feel he lacks polish a bit.

Also, I found a glitch, you can taunt in the air. And keep doing this until you're off screen.

I might go deeper with testing him in a little while.

Also, I suggest reducing his size back to normal. Since right now, he's as tall as KFM... And Mario's not exactly that tall anyway.

Yeah, the taunting in the air was because I forgot to add a crucial line. lol
Anyway, yeah, he's not quite done yet, he does need some tweaking, plus I want to finish his moveset up.

Ah, I see.

Also, I notice his target combo's last hit wiffs on quite a few foes... Though then again, it's better to just use Mario Tornado instead as the last hit. Since you can cancel that into supers.

His dodgeroll seems very slow too. Making it harder to use then a normal P.O.T.S style character... Not sure if this is intentional or not. But it does make approach kinda tough sometimes.

On a side note. Do you have the Training character? It's a KFM character that tells you frame data about the character you're using... Just in case though. I'll list some block advantage frames.

Yeah, I do have the training character, just that I'm not the best at judging what frame advantages/disadvantages should be. Thanks for the suggestions though. I'll have to get to work on that tomorrow though.

All and all, I feel this character has potential. Just needs some polish here and there. Maybe some more graphical things, like a new small portrait, and super portrait.

I hope to see this potential reached with this character.

There's one more thing I notice...

His dodgeroll seems very gimped compared to other P.O.T.S styled characters.

It's very slow, and lasts longer then normal. Meaning dodging though attacks could actually put you in a bad position.

And you can't dodge while running either. Unless this is intentional?

Still, it makes some foes a lot harder to beat. Due to the roll lasting too long. Maybe make it more like Ryu's dodge speed?

Yeah, this also bothers me. Though then again, Mwryly did this with his Ryu, and Gouki. So that one doesn't bother me as much.

Still, a back roll would be nice.

I'm using the newer chars as a benchmark because this char seems more inspired by the newer chars (see: hitsparks/sounds). >:(

Because yeah only forward rolls are boring, forward+back is the best!

targetcombo1>stand a>stand x> Stand y
targetcombo2>stand a>stand x> Stand x

Actually, LP can cancel into itself, and LP and LK can cancel into each other. Not something I'd count as a "target combo."

Anyway, I tweaked the hitstun and cooldown of the normals, except for the jumping normals as frame advantages with those depends on your y position and velocity. I made the last attack in the target combo able to connect, and I improved the forward roll and added a back roll.
