They actually wanted to call SCV as SEII but Bamco turned them down.
Given that the background there on the SBS site by Namco Bandai is full of stars i really BET its something StarBlade related.

Namco Bandai's teaser site http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/list/sbs/ was updated with a map of the world (with submerged landmasses). ... Uh.

With the focus on Greece, it's a lot more evident. So, new PS3 Saint Seiya game, good. I liked Ougon Senki, and the addition of Elysion in a major game is long overdue by a few decades.edit - oh shit, Siliconera says Tenma is confirmed too, Lost Canvas game woo-hoo ! (well it might be Next Dimension too but I'll just... ignore that, yeah)Edit again :Siliconera article update said:Update: Sources have confirmed that the game’s title is Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, not “Bout Senses”.Makes more sense. Posted: June 19, 2013, 06:18:54 pmhttp://gematsu.com/2013/06/saint-seiya-brave-soldiers-announced-for-playstation-3Those guys got the actual scan. Just one screenshot (beside some models) but it's definitely Ougon Senki / Battle Sanctuary style (models and visual style are the same as far as I can tell, at least it's not the style of the Ultimate Cosmos PSP fighter) ("fighting action" genre). It doesn't show Kouga or Tenma though, but we get Poseidon and Hades. This might finally be the definitive Saint Seiya game.
Needs more Asgard.Sure that arc was fillers but eh... it was good filler. Hopefully the gameplay is at least decent.

Seriously, the PS2 games weren't good (specially the second), so I do hope they managed to make it good this time.
Why the assumption that it will be a fighting game, rather than the same as Sanctuary Battle ? Did it do too poorly to consider ?
THE PS2 GAMES WERE GOOD, COME ON!Sadly the gameplay was a bit too simplified, but still it was the best we've got so far in terms of SS Fightan. It felt kinda like Saint Seiya Budokai 3.
I prefer the first one of the two Saint Seya Fighting game if I had to choose. Specially since the second one got a huge lag when they made the PAL version. Believe me, playing a game that is constantly lagging is no fun at all. And that silly dash of the second that made every single match against the AI annoying as it just started moving around without stopping. But hey, let's change the subject. Some news that went under my radar, which makes me really happy that I found this. Any Dangan Ronpa fans here? Well, guess what!!!http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/18/danganronpa-1-2-reload-announced-for-playstation-vita/http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/19/heres-a-first-look-at-danganronpa-1-2-reload-on-vita/That's right, we have PSVita version of the first and second game coming in the future. Fortunately, this port encourages some company to translate and deliver this game outside of Japan.

But yes, give us more Asgard, please. And Lost Canvas Gold Saints!
Bea said, June 20, 2013, 02:40:03 pmAnd Lost Canvas Gold Saints! While the characters with their personal story are awesome, they are literally all clones of the originals, both when it comes to looks, and when it comes to techniques (they all have one extra super secret technique that's a boost of the original, but that's it). I don't know what Kurumada did with his new Saints in Next Dimension, but I know they have original looks, so if they also have different techniques then I'd expect them sooner than the LC versions - sadly. Then again we probably haven't seen much of them yet, I guess ? Have they had any fight ?

Then again we probably haven't seen much of them yet, I guess ? Have they had any fight ?Well, for starters, Lost Canvas isn't canon to the main story, right? Next dimension is the real version of Tenma's story according to Kurumada.I haven't been been following Next Dimension due lack of scanlations (The last spoiler I read was that they found a secret 13th gold saint and that Shaina was related to him) but I know quite a bit of them have new techniques. And and they (thankfully) look waaaay different than their original counterparts (That's one thing that pissed me off about LC, sure they all have cool and different attitudes but ugh, in appearance they're all clones)
So it's Sanctuary Battle without the Musou-inspired part, just limited to the boss battles, which does make it a fighting game (more like Budokai Tenkaichi) after all. I was okay with the road battle because of the experience system it came with (and having a Gold Saint at a decent level really felt like being a Gold Saint wrecking shit up), and it just lacked variety, but that works, the system was fine in SB.Also, screw North America (just like SB).
