a new 3d touhou fighting game with less card game mechanics and more "traditional" way of using specials and supers. of course i want kaguya and mokou in it. that or a wrestling game of touhou dream match with a more kinikuman/anime style wrestling and not the slow paced wrestling games.

Proper order of things is often a mystery to me

Well as long as we're throwing out some impossibilities...

A Soul Calibur dedicated to its guest stars. Heihachi, Spawn, Kos-Mos, Dante, Lloyd, Darth Vader, Yoda, Starkiller and Ezio. Does it make sense? No. Would you want to play it? Yes.

A 2D fighter on Blizzard Etertainment's universes. So WarCraft, StarCraft and Diablo, plus if there are any other small titles they've done that I'm not recalling, of course. Get some Kerrigan vs Imperius or Arthas beating up The Butcher, and I'm sold.

And just to follow Sony and complete the cycle, an Xbox version of Smash Bros. (Though I suppose that one's not a terribly impossible possibility. Just not likely, given All-Stars lackluster reception)

I'd like to see a Capcom and Namco/Project Soul joint project to bring back Star Gladiator. (with CAS, with a few SC styles thrown in and maybe a Blodia style (considering SG's scrapped content))

Merciless.

Capcom Fighting All Stars needs to see the light of day. I'd like them to keep the original "METRO CITY'S GONNA GO BOOM" plot and new characters they were going to use in the original version of the game, but honestly wouldn't be too upset if they didn't. A large (and varied) cast and a good system are musts, though. I don't want Street Fighter IV featuring Morrigan and Strider.

A new Fighting Vipers would be nice. Probably best to give it the Killer Instinct treatment and radically redesign/update it, but keep the majority of its core mechanics. The originals were basically Dead or Alive with armor breaks, so maybe make some magic out of that relationship with Tecmo-Koei that resulted in VF guest stars. I could see the DoA team doing Fighting Vipers more justice than current Sega could internally.

Dissidia for consoles. Preferably with a system more in line with traditional fighting games. Keep the RPG story mode, sure, but make the actual combat something less RPG and more 3D fighting game.

Battle Fantasia 2. With dat Xrd engine.

Definitely agree with S.D. on a new Toshinden.

Anything else I could've wanted is already happening. A new Guilty Gear, Persona Arena sequel, the SFxT characters in SF4, portable Smash Bros...

-Soul Calibur 6 with all the customization crap from 5 and all the variety of modes from 2 and 3.

Rage of the Dragons 2

I know one of the characters designers (the one who designed cassandra) and he said he and the other guys from evoga were planning into making a rage of the dragons 2.
That was years ago, who knows what happened to that.

Since an all new (never seen before) fighter counts...

I'd like to see a fighting game that...
-3D fighter with 2D-fighter jumping and sidestepping.
-KoF'95 dodge.
-A simple but effective parry system.
-Battle damage like in Art of Fighting.
-Elaborate cell-shading.
-1 bar for super attacks only like Super Turbo.
-Multiple voice sets for characters like ArcSys stuff.

Sequels to existing games... none in particular.

I would love to see a sequel to JoJo's All-Star Battle.

If only to play as Diego Brando and his "alternate universe" incarnation (what a tremendous oversight it was to leave him out of ASB).

Oh yeah, how about a version of ASB that actually ran at 60fps outside of cutscene supers.
I'd buy the game again just for that, honestly. And better netcode, but mostly framerate.

Yeah.... but to be clear there were some characters from the anime/manga in arc system works PS2 import game but not all or even a lot of them. Kens rage series pretty much damn there have em all in there. Im still playing kens rage 2 now. theres a lot of damn characters^^
