reading the staff section is like watching c-span. besides they could talk about banning some person for something and that person sees it and decides to go out with a real bang of goatsce pictures or some other horrible horrible thing. why should we have to be exposed to that? or other such nonsense.
CCI [Yuutsu] said, August 31, 2007, 05:14:28 ambecause it's fun... and Messatsu and Sepp running the forums Then what the hell do you do?
Messatsu said, August 31, 2007, 05:33:42 amYeah but the apocalyptic atmosphere only depends on your perspective.Perspective as in - it's not as bad as it seems, or perspective as in - promising for some hahahahahas
It's really bad for the working class leechers while it's awesome for all of the dirt poor leechers and rich leechers. Anyway, I'm planning on my own how to start a Creator Sweatshop to do a publicity stunt for the stressed out Warehouse Owners.

[/sarcasm] ...
Yeah, things have died down and have started to smoothen out since the forum rehaul... and the goatse epidemic
Like how, for instance... besides the average leechers, spammers, and trolls seen everyday on this board?
Messatsu said, August 31, 2007, 05:48:05 amThings aren't so apocalyptic now, are they? OMG, optimism... What's the next sympthom... Edited because the one below goes next

reading the staff section right now is like listening in to one side of a conference call. transparency is an absolute. however it cannot be maintained in either of it's extremes. if everything was open again you guys would just be PM'ing each other or having a private mod IRC chat or something to talk about what is going on now in the private staff talk.Whatever you guys talk about in there I hope another shake up is no where near. We are all still getting used to the new rules/regime and anything you do is under close scrutiny by the users. Hope you don't shoot yourselves in the foot anytime soon is all I'm saying.
DemonicDrPhil said, August 31, 2007, 08:15:21 amif everything was open again you guys would just be PM'ing each other or having a private mod IRC chat or somethingOne of the two topics there is about IRC events. The other is about... more IRC events. You win.And if public staff talk is too boring at the moment, here's an example of IRC events, this is one of the things said in public in #MUGEN, so it itself is no secret:<Kung_Fu_Man> What would you do, if Guild did get sued over copyrights infringed upon?<[Sepp]> Ash, didn't Reu write a positive resonance post?<[Sepp]> Have you brought him back on the True Way by now?<Kung_Fu_Man> Don't think so...last I checked with talking to him on MSN, he was quite...pissed.<Valodim_> last I talked to him here he seemed to not care at all *shrugs*<Kung_Fu_Man> And you can be pretty sure Eli didn't enjoy watching his mugen alter-ego passed around, let alone get assraped.<[Sepp]> He has seen the light.<Valodim_> but people always have different opinions when talking to you it seems<Kung_Fu_Man> And what happens if Rikard gets stepped on?<Kung_Fu_Man> Or Borghi?<Kung_Fu_Man> They are, of course, inevitable. And you can be fairly sure they're going to be a bit...pissed.<[Sepp]> We cannot do all that assraping on our own. We shall require assistance with this.<Valodim_> I'm numb already<[Sepp]> Damn.<Kung_Fu_Man> So what happens if you get slapped with a suit?<[Sepp]> We'll find you, and we'll kill you, and then we'll assrape you.And so on. This and more stuff like this was posted in the private section so we can prepare our counter-suits in secret in order to sue each other to death until there's no MUGEN page left.
Jesuszilla said, August 31, 2007, 05:59:41 amNo, they're gradually getting worse.god, all you do is moan. get over it already.* Valodim votes to ban JZ
Secret sections with actually useful Mugen information (code tips, feedback, etc...) bother me a lot more than secret staff sections - if RS's private section(s?) are anything like the previous Guild's, I know which of the two forums now bothers me the most on that regard due to witholding knowledge from the Mugen community...
