Granted, some Pakistanis can be extremists against the western world, so no wonder they'd stick up for him
lansman said, May 02, 2011, 07:00:28 amIT was originally thought up by another terrorist and involved 9 planes, that guy was captured before 9/11, but it seems that it was bin laden who was the head of the organization that planned/claimed responsibility/had members in the group that did the attack.Lasombra Demon said, May 02, 2011, 06:57:41 amDid they actually prove Osama was after 9/11?
^I can agree with that. USA USA USA. Seriously. I just hope a video isn't released saying that he's still alive from the terrorists.also @lasombrahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden#September_11_attacks
------------ In case you still want it ----------------------------http://www.911hardfacts.com/report_19.htmI admit I got this rather hastily, but maybe this could shed a little light?
Jesuszilla said, May 02, 2011, 07:11:03 amOh fuck off, just enjoy the moment. He was still an asshole even if you took away 9/11.Ok, take away 9/11 (I actually agree with the version that the released confession tape is fake; had it been true, the guy would have cheered on his actions immediatly, not much later). So, the guy's an ex CIA (trained to resist against the soviets in Afganistan) connected with the Bush family, pretty much an allegedly visible face for terrorism (completely made up by the media, but whatever). But you know what? Terrorism has never been our problem (actually, it's more likely to be struck down by lightning than to die in a terrorist attack, but whatever). Poverty is. I'll rejoice when they finally kill the guys @ the IMF and other similar institutions. Till then, I don't give a damn. Actually, I think you should care more about the budget and the new Medicare reforms which are being debated.
@OverKing KamikazeIt's "OK" for a general idea, but you gotta look at other sources to fact-check Wikipedia's facts.
It's true. But he'd rather have a keystroking party here over the death of Bin Laden, which is more than understandable.
regardless of whether bin laden was a trained agent that was told to do 9/11 or something(dunno what you're going with) this is still a great victory for ordinary people.
Sure, while they get unions busted, no free health care, the highest unemployment in the last 30 years, and the greatest mortgage crisis in our lifetime. Ordinary people are just fine and dandy because across the ocean, they killed some guy!
LOL. I was thinking about that when I heard the news. all these problems, and suddenly!! obama's found osama!!but still, you should check out the news, everyone yelling USA, it's fucking sweet. I think I'll get a rally together up here in Canada for solidarity. Think about it from a symbolic perspective. This guy is the fucking SYMBOL of everything that is supposed to be Anti-American. This is the guy who is responsible for a direct attack on america, and partially successful. so in other words, AMERICA FUCK YAH
lansman said, May 02, 2011, 07:37:54 amsolidarity. Solidarity on killing someone? Sounds as absurd as the parades they did in my town to cheer when the towers fell. I cheered when Obama won. I'll cheer when Guantánamo gets closed.
Anyone else wanna start taking bets on Obama's approval rating tomorrow/this week? I'm betting high 60s/low 70s.Obama proved that he's a real American this week. 8)Lasombra = Debbie Downer.
Jesuszilla said, May 02, 2011, 07:41:06 amwhen did you move hereI didn't. I just follow USA politics very closely. And lots of people in my little town in South America cheered when the towers fell. Something about 'destroying a symbol of capitalist imperialism'. Yeah, sounds as absurd as a 'symbol of terrorism', but whatever. And yeah, I might be a Debbie Downer. But I'm actually worried to see you guys caught up in birth certificate and Osama crap when you could be actually focusing on more important stuff.
While I, for one, am honestly thankful for your concern, it may just boil down to us being accountable for our own mistakes. Still, I appreciate it. Some of us do need reminders.
