Hello guys,

the Rom Hack released a simple tool, able to open files SFFv2. For now the images compressed with LZ5 not work but the RLE5, RLE8 and RAW are already good. You view the images with all palettes. It is also opensource, and goes along the third version of the document.

well its not running for me. sdl.dll  not found, I am using a vista64 bit core 2 duo. I googled the file then, I get another error SDL_RWFromConstMem cannot be Located in DLL.

edit

lol I placed the tool in the mugen dir , but still nothing at least I don’t get and error.

I'm still getting an error message.

need to drag the sff into the exe's icon

Tried that, and it just won't relent. Is there any particular spot within the mugen directory that this is meant to go in?

EDIT: Moved it to the tools directory, and the error message refuses to go away. I'm down to screams and keyboard bashing now.

Make sure the file "SDL.dll" from your main mugen directory is copied to the directory where you have the tool.
If you're on Vista, you might need to set SFFv2View.exe to always open with admin privileges.

need to drag the sff into the exe's icon

now thats fukin weird

Not really - dragging a file onto an application's icon causes the application to run, with the dragged file passed to it as a parameter - standard Windows behaviour.  Dragging kfm.sff onto the icon of SFFv2View.exe is equivalent to running "SFFv2View.exe kfm.sff" from the command line.
