Details on how J-Stars Victory Vs. plays come from a round of magazine scans. This fighting game brings Jump characters including Toriko, Luffy from One Piece, Naruto, Goku from Dragon Ball Z, Ichigo from Bleach, and Kenshin together on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Screenshots show Kenshi and Ichigo fighting on Planet Namek.

J-Stars Victory Vs. is a two vs. two fighting game. Although battles can become two vs. one if you defeat a fighter. You set up a team, but only directly control one character. The computer controls your partner.

Basic attacks chain up into combos and you can do power attacks if you have enough meter. This meter is shared among the team and when all three segments are full you can do an ultimate attack. Special attacks can be comboed one after another. A scan shows Goku firing a Kamehameha in mid-air and then Naruto using a Rasenshuriken.

But I wanted Gintama too, and with the manga's success, new movie and how is one of Jump's flagship series so far, it was guaranteed to make it in, that's like guessing that Ichigo from Bleach was going to make it in.

I'd rather ask for something that's note very likely to make it in (Well, HnK has gore and stuff but they can remove it, JoJo is busy with its own game... and if anything we'll get... Jotaro...), I don't know if Japan still cares about Otokojuku (Momotaro was in JUS). Some Jigoku Sensei Nube would be amazing too.

Hell Teacher isn't really relevant now though. If anything we're more likely to see some D.Gray-man or Neuro as they still have pretty damn big followings. Anything that managed to get in the mainstream got a playable appearance in JUS, so Otokojuku does have a chance... unless they are planning on sticking to strictly recent or a selection of specific series.

Also I call Joseph because TV anime.

To be fair Nube and Yukime (And Tamamo?) were in JUS. Otokojuku had that one live action movie with Tak Sakaguchi that came out what? Four years ago?
And I though Neuro did terrible (Since the anime was so poorly handled), I wonder if we'll see Kiruko, sure the manga flopped but she has an interesting design.

I thought it ran in Shonen Jump for a bit.  I know it previewed for a month or two at least.

Eh, what do I know, I haven't touched Jump in a few years.  Wasn't expecting it to be in anyways, all the more if Jump didn't own it in the first place, I guess.

...Edward actually sounds like he'd be cool to see.  Oh well.

Wait, Ultimo's listed here....didn't show in full, but then, neither did DBZ.  Though that's the English adaption, so I guess it doesn't apply, don't know what the Japanese version did with the series.

Meant it more in that Goku's in the game, even if the entire series wasn't shown in Jump, than specifics on the manga's name...

What? I don't get what's your point but I'm pretty sure that all 500+ chapters of Dragon Ball were published in Shounen Jump.
