I feel like apart, Super Buu (no nose) and Kid Buu don't have enough moves so giving the latter the former's moves is a good call. He sounds a bit too much like the Fat one, though I doubt he'll say any real words.

Super Buu and Kid Buu easily could've been their own characters. It's just that we only needed 2 Buus.

it kinda reminds me of the choice you make in an snk fighting game, where you can choose to reduce your opponent's health and other stuff

Oh wow, the scene with Freeza blowing up Krillin and the "angry Kamehameha" dramatic finish aren't just for the story, it's an actual special intro / winpose for a Freeza / Goku fight. With the Beerus one where Goku starts dropping back to Earth, I assume it has extra requirements like being on a certain stage.

Now the people who say this game will only have 18 characters can shut up. We currently 23 in the roster and it's not even done yet.... we even got Super characters just like I thought.

My bets are on Bardock, Raditz, and Broly for the last base roster reveals making 26 characters.

The gameplay runs at 60fps. The cut-scenes don't because they've gone through the trouble of emulating 2D hand-drawn animation, which is not typically produced at 60fps. It's an intentional effect on the part of the devs. Same thing with Guilty Gear Xrd.

The only thing that looks off is the fact that that the panning of the camera as well as many of the background/character effects (like the water splashing and the aura) DO seem to run at a higher framerate than the actual characters.

They're using the same animation style for both the fights and the scenes and both instances have animations that run at a higher framerate than the characters themselves (Like ki effects and dust), the only reason cutscenes have stiffer animation is because of what's being animated to begin with (With characters talking to each other not requiring tons of movement because it would look weird otherwise).

The game runs at 60 FPS at all times, just like in Xrd. And both instances have choppy animation on purpose (No character ever animates at 60 FPS).
