*This project isn't mine, its by Fou, but I'm helping him with chars & other*

Kirby the dream battle is a kirby fighting game with gameplay very similar to Kirby Super Star Ultra.
The goal is to beat his opponent with the ability and attack of the character you have chosen.
Each character has it own different set of attack from the Kirby where he appeared.
In addition, each character has 1 (or 2) ultimate technique called "Hyper" which will be available when it has its maximum ability gauge.
The number of playable character will be very numerous, all the character of Kirby with more than 2 attacks will have its place in the game!
It will be the number of ... "70" (and may still change, for good)
There will of course classic bosses in the series.

Very awesome. The total sprite consistency makes it nearly look like an authentic game.
You're lucky that all the helper characters from Super Star just so happen to have the dance animations for you to use for their win poses.  ;P

Nice portraits too.

Not sure what else to say..good luck, and I'm looking forward to seeing Meta Knight and/or Dedede.

We have all sprites ripped thanks to Spriters Resource, but some of the chars are edited, like Efrite (all edited), Box Boxer, Bronto Burt, etc.

Creepy Minions


Tedhaun has a mode called Poltergeist. While on this mode, he is invincible, but its attack power drops to 30% and it can't use hypers

Well, the char party is over. Tomorrow my vacation is over, so I won't be able to do the chars as fast as I done on past weeks.

Say, I was thinking of trying to custome sprite Adeleine in Super Star ULTRA style for your project, but I have no ideas for her moves. Any thoughts? :(

İ enjoyed this beta alot and it made me remember Cyanide's Sonic Battle Game for Mugen. This is fun and awesome. İ didnt see any bugs. The button layout is easy to use aswell.

I haven't developed the story too much, but its related with the Amazing Mirror.

Its all just a matter of personal opinion I guess.

I personally think that Mega Man's MM7 sprite doesn't really clash too badly with the 16-bit Kirby sprites, mainly because a lot of the Kirby enemies have very wide/chunky proportions in addition to being colorful and cartoony. I always looked at Mega Man 7 for basically fitting that description..especially Mega himself!

Its a guest char, it doesn't needs to make sense. We will make a short history for it, but don't expect a very dense history.

The sprites styles aren't THAT different too. They aren't the MM7 ones, but the ones from Power Battles.
