What do you expect from the M.U.G.E.N community?

Hi community,

Just wanted to know what everyone's searching for/looking forward to on this forum or the internet as a whole with regard to M.U.G.E.N. Moreover what goes through your mind while looking through projects or releases section. I'm curious to know the result, so I implore everyone who views this poll to vote. Also do leave a comment if you want to elaborate on the point or you want to say something else.

Super Mario Fighters 3 resurrected.

Material from/based on my favorite media. Non-fighter games or certain cartoons specifically. Doesn't need to be limited to characters.

Original characters too. That aren't palettes/taking a prexisting character and modifying them.

However, I just watch the "What's New" section. I only go back through archives if I need to search for something I know is there.

I just look for releases that I can actually enjoy and find discussions which catch my interest with hopes of joining conversations I have common ground with.

More recently, I've been much more engage on the coding side of MUGEN, although the actual practice is being postponed until I get a working PC again.

I'm doing Sailormoon stuff specifically. But it's SM mugen activity has disappeared but I'll continue working with it regardless if there is or no support.

For mine is mostly my favorite characters, a few has been confirm in the project section that they will be created, but some has not been active for a long time like or the project is likely to be cancelled such as @Victorys''s Evil Ken, Ryu and Gouki which he announced the project in his wip thread: : http://mugenguild.com/forum/msg.2211365 @Jesuszilla's Kyosuke and Iori Yagami and Kyo Kusanagi in his Ash Saga outfit which he announced: http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/jesuszillas-wips-remake-all-hs-characters-current-severe-adhd-176092.msg2285328.html#msg2285328 and maybe some might return to release their old works which were offline like @Hero's Ken, Violent Ken and others. @Reddbrink has God Rugal in his wip list too, @Vyn currently has his Street Fighter 3's Evil Ryu in progress and @Knuckles8864 has his Pots' style's Ryuji Yamazaki in progress as well: http://mugenguild.com/forum/msg.2403208. I have only left a Pots' style's Kyosuke Kagami which is not created yet. Other than that, there might be some characters like another version of the same characters are being announced to be created out of nowhere which are unexpected.

when will this personal crises ends? it just won't stop!

I expect good quality characters. While I am willing to try any character, the only characters I actually keep in my main roster are either that of high quality or those that I actually like.

Either that, or characters whose assets I can recycle for future projects. Especially sprites.

I really don't have expectations for the MUGEN community but I do like the fact they have characters in certain styles that may never see the day of light in a crossover game. Here, the dream battles are endless.
