Me? Oh yes i did..i am one of the haters of the story in both sc iv-v and wish there would be something more story focussed. I am sceptic but who knows, maybe SC LS is not so bad after all (but my hopes are small)

The point is that when they tried to give more multiplayer content than single player content, it got shat on, so it makes perfect sense (plus the DLC frenzy probably worked well enough if they're doing that again). I'm interested to see if that works out.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

The Problem is that Soul Calibur has a tricky Fanbase.

One Part of the Fanbase only enjoys playing Singelplayer, they like the Story and Chars, unlocking endings and extras etc.
One Part of the Fanbase only enjoys playing Multiplayer and the competition with other Players.
And one Part enjoys Multiplayer & Singeplayer modes.

In Soul Calibur 5 Namco had just not enough content to satisfy all Parts of the Fanbase, if you focus your game to much in one direction, you will always have customers who will be unhappy with the Game and don't buy the DLCs or will be so unhappy that they don't even want a sequel, or tell there friends to not buy the game because it is so "bad", so a company has to find a way to please as many parts of a Fanbase as they can or the game will be no success.

Now they try to Fix it with this Free to Play game. :-\

Gems to customize weapons? I'm having an almost similar idea. Shards. Well, it isn't that much to say about it...
Fun fact: I can't remain silent about problems of M.U.G.E.N, or the entire Gameworld, but i can't say about them without it turning into shitpost.

Probably late news, but I don't check this thread so sorry but.

you can make a jpn account to try a demo beta of the game. the lifebars and super meter look nicer than soulV, they made the lifebar and superbar thick and the super meter is right under the lifebar kind of like how x-men children of the atom is or darkstalkers 1.

they also brought back guard impact. so no more use of meter to G.I.
Sophitia wasn't a copy paste from soul iv afterall and had some different moves and commands.

It's a Facebook videogame/social game hybrid; expecting more would've been asking for a bit much. :P

I care about Pyrrha. :(
Just don't make her have 80% of the spotlight next time.

That site's banner had me thinking they had FF characters planned to guest star here for a moment...

Suppose it's too much to hope for Nightmare's SCII look?  Or at least his SCIV one, they already have it in V.

Also, am I just remembering Pyrrha wrong, or did they really mess up her face for this one?  It just looks....wrong.
