Is there anyway to have teams in training mode, I'm trying to setup combos with partners considering that I have a tag system, any help is appreciated
That will happen to you if you don't wear your seat belts, so make sure to wear your seat belts.

As far as I know, No.
You'll have to rely on Spacebar and F4 to refill your life and energy.

An alternative is using Training by Stupa, recovers their life by itself exactly as in training mode.
