Keep effect animation on player

how can i keep an effect around the character no matter what if they are moving attacking getting hit what ever they are doing the effect stays with them
what code can i use/what code do i use so i can get this to work?

I like to do this for Cinder if anyone can help.

You mean like have an effect (e.g. smoke) spawn regardless of the character's actions? If so, you put it in Statedef -2.

Just create a helper with an explod that doesn't
Destroy its self, bindtime -1
